About this mod

An unofficial cinematic tool for Helldivers 2 (previously known as "Unofficial Photomode")

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Have you ever wanted to take photos and cinematic
videos in Helldivers 2?

Now you can!

Huge credit to 103niki for making the the hand/stim gun removal part of the mod.

Why this mod?

Helldivers 2 is undeniably a very pretty game, and at times, can be just as cinematic as games such as Battlefield 1.
However, sadly, the game has no official photomode/cinematic tool. This mod aims to fix that (as closely as possible).

This mod also includes options to remove capes, data pads, and sample canisters from your helldiver.
If you want a mod with that functionality only, check out this mod.

Some models, especially modded ones, use Basic+ Textures. The datapad model also uses these textures, meaning that when using the Hide Datapad option, it may remove part of your armor too. In MOST cases this shouldn't be an issue, but if you notice this happening, that is the reason why. There isn't much I can do to combat this issue at this time.

How to use the mod?

- If you want to take cinematic shots, you will need to use the SC-30 Trailblazer Scout armor (Brawny) and the stim pistol.

- In your game settings, turn your FOV down all the way and change your Render Scale to as high as your PC can handle.

- Once you are in a game, go into the first person view and press Caps lock to remove the HUD.

Keybinds:

F3 - Hide Cape

F4 - Hide Data Pad & Sample Canister

F8 - Enable Scenery Photo mode (removes players and certain objects for pictures of scenery)

Caps lock - Disable HUD (won't disable Helldiver)

How to Install:

Please unzip the file and look at the README, it has the install instructions there, as it is a bit different than other mods.
