Hi! Here is a message from 103niki, the other creator of this mod, regarding weapons that can zoom. " I tried to do this before with zoom, but so far have had no luck. There's a blur filter that gets placed over any weapon that uses a scope. Removing the gun model+scope just leaves everything blurry regardless of zoom. I haven't been able to get around that : (
I'm looking back into this though, seeing if there's anything I can do. I'll let you know if I do as I agree, having a zoom feature would be GREAT!"
Huh... for some reason, when I try to manually download it here, my PC says its a "virus" . . . is it perhaps because it's called "Tool", and my parameters don't like it ? First time I have a problem like that on Nexus. x)
I suspect its all good, but better safe than sorry : anyone can confirm it's a false alarm on my end, and its safe to use ? Or if others got the same warning when downloading...
Would there be anyway to make a similar mod like this but for a weapon that has multiple ranges when ADS like the LAS-16 sickle (25, 50, 100m)? This way it could be used a zoom feature? I know nothing about mods so I wouldn't know if removing the reticle and other interfering parts would be possible or not, just thought I'd ask. I've been using this current mod for a video I'm trying to make and It'd be really nice to have a weapon that zooms in a bit too :)
Hey! I'm the guy who removed the STIM pistol model for the ADS part of this mod. I tried to do this before with zoom, but so far have had no luck. There's a blur filter that gets placed over any weapon that uses a scope. Removing the gun model+scope just leaves everything blurry regardless of zoom. I haven't been able to get around that : (

Hi ! Thanks a lot for this mod. It works very well, except for the scenery photo mode in my case :( It doesn't seem to make players invisible, neither in ship or in the field. All other functions work as expected Do you think it's an issue on my end ? I run AMD if that helps Thanks a lot!
Many, many thanks! I'm in the process of making a background video to support a cosplay stage performance my gf and I are doing. You have no idea how much we would appreciate to film some ambience on the ship ! Cheers
Sadly no, you will need another person if you want to take shots of armor. At the moment there is no other way to do it with current modding capabilities. Hopefully one day!
Alright, Thanks for letting me know. However do let me know if there are developments haha. i just got into modding yesterday and i already went bananas
Some models, especially modded ones, use Basic+ Textures. The datapad model also uses these textures, meaning that when using the Hide Datapad option, it may remove modded things too. There isn't much I can do to combat this issue at this time sadly :(
I hate to be that guy, but I am not finding a README file attached to the new updated file. Is this just a general install or plug and play method now that does not require any set up or is there a step by step process? The older README guides are giving different instructions to what is in the new files?
My apologies, you are correct, the current download is missing like half the mod. I guess the newest HD2 patch really messed up my thinking skills lol. I will fix it asap.
