I think it is incompatible with freelancer variations. Bought the cherry blossom baller in hawke's bay for 0 merces and it did not have a rarity and when i came back to the safehouse i didn't have it anymore.
I did some testing and wasn't able to reproduce the error.
My guess would be that It's the bug with suppliers that happens even on vanilla, suppliers have a tendency of not selling pistols even if it's the only thing left to complete the wall.
Try to go into more missions and check the suppliers again, I had a campaign that took 5 missions for the supplier to sell the last pistol. All the other times he had an empty briefcase.
Would be great if you can replace many more items with its counterpart. (such as all MK1, MK2, and MK3 stuffs) I dislike some items' look such as Remote Symtex, and it would be cool if this mod can replace such items. Thank you for the mod btw.

Did the same problem happens if you find the gun on other maps?
Do the normal variant appears instead or both don't appear?
