Notes: - This is for FEMALE character only! - Just using very simple physic, so it may not compatible with some robe and coat ;) - I was using the same asset to made my previous "Side-braid Hair Style" mod, so please disabled it (by move it to outside HL folder) before apply this mod.
It become replacement for Female Hair style #14 (I also already made a thumbnail icon for it, so people would easier to choosing this hair style from the hair-style list). You can change her hair color via slider. And if you want to change your current female character with this hair style , just go to the nearest barber shop and choose that thumbnail icon. As simple as that!
ps. Because many were asking it for several times; I have to confirm that I'm not using any face mod or character mods in those screenshots. She was standard "Emily" from character preset #1, with slightly lower "moles and freckles" value. I only using this hair mod. The other mod that I'm currently using is only a custom shader that I made for HL to improve lighting, skin color, specular, exponential high-fogs mimic, etc. You may download the "lite" edition of this custom shader from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/20 But keep it mind, it still need a beefy PC gaming spec for it ;)
Ok, since so many asked about her hair physic, then I can give you a demo of it. I've uploaded a version with slightly advanced physic for her back hair. But please keep in mind actually this was just a "CARD-BOARD based hair" (low geometry), so it cannot be compare with curve based, alembic or other particle based hair for its hair strands physic smoothness.
Yeah, we can get more detail of each strains movement, but we have to increase the card board geometry and its physic proxy mesh to make deformation more smooth. But as the geometry would be increase so high, I don't believe all PC gaming rigs can handle this physic movements.
You can download the physic version demo of this hair style mod under "miscellaneous files" section of this page.
I made her hair floating slightly over to show-off that physic effect (LMAO! Enjoying it when you driving your broom...faster!!). And if you see the hair strands may look breaking, that's because of the hair card boards geometry were too low to handle hair deformation =))
actually this was just the same technique when I made my "John Wick Wick" (Keanu Reeve) mod physic hair for Gotham Knights:
So, as long as the game was based on UE4, nothing special with hair physic. Developers could be use a different plugin or add-on to make they easier to work on it. But the basic knowledge was the same ;)
I'm not take RESPONSIBILITY if this version would crashes your PC if your GPU/CPU specs might not adequate for it!
since so many people asking for it, then I have made a new alternative version of this mod. The hair shorter (shoulder based long hair cut) than the original version. Let's called it as version 1.02. You can download it from "Optional files" section of this mod page. Notes of this shorter hair style version 1.02: - Since this is a short hair style, then I only give it a very simple and small amount of hair physic simulation for it. You will barely see it in-game (especially with lower LOD ~ higher FOV ~ long distance camera view-angle); but you can see it more noticeable on higher LOD/closer camera viewing (e.g when you see it inside your Inventory/Gears control panel (like in the screenshots below)). It will reacting to the wind. ;)
Awesome Hair mod! I have a mod request. I basically want a male character refit of this long hair hairstyle which only can be used by female created characters. I have the original modders permission as seen in the screenshot below:Long Hairstyle Mod link: https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/1230?tab=description&jump_to_comment=147763979Mod Author Permission Screenshot: https://ibb.co/KmKGBpFThanks if you can and no rush! Take as much time as you need!
As a hair dresser, this style makes me cringe. No one should ever have hair that short in the front and that long in the back. The disconnect is ghastly looking.
1 : its called fiction 2 : In my country we do have not only women but also men that get that kind of hair 3 : haircuts from the movies to the games in the FF series have been co designed by japanese hairdressers before being modeled 4 : like a hair dresser you are indeed keeping your people reputation of being judgmental dumbos on other people style and culture
I cant seem to remove this mod? I used vortex to install it and Uninstalled it because its not what im looking for? but its STILL in my game?? Its not in the vortex mod folders at all. Im verifying my game integrity but Im not sure how to fix this?
Thanks for the mod. Enjoying it a lot. Physics works fine. I was a little anxious about it clipping with cloaks and capes, but it still is fluid and clear. Nice work.

Thank you so much for creating such a really cool mod :D
