1.0.1 has stability/bug fixes and adds the ability to rebind the hotkey via your Engine.ini file. Make sure you remove the old version. Some users have also reported needing to delete the old save file (ModLoaderSaves.sav located one directory up from your normal game saves) to avoid a crash.
Latest Vortex update may have bugged out nearly all mods. Make sure your mods are in the correct folders.
Today is the first I've loaded the game since the patch. Game crashed at shaders screen.... I removed all my nexus mods from /Paks and loaded into the game just fine. Found most (or similar) of my mods in-game, started a new playthrough with Curse mods active, Alt-F4ed the game once I was in the starting cave (game auto saves). Re-added BPApperate, Spell Helper, and Lore Friendly Apparition back into my game files where they were before. Loaded back into the game and loaded up my new save just fine. F8 works to pull up BPA's menu. The other two mods (which use BPApperate) work just fine. No issues at all yet playing the game. Haven't tried to add more Nexus mods, didn't really run all that many to begin with.
So basically, Load game without Nexus mods to let the game client figure itself out. Then reinstall your Nexus mods that haven't yet been migrated to Curse.
Or maybe I was just lucky and it's a fluke the game works? LOL...?

(Apparently, mods that silence the Floo lady, Deek, spell castings, etc aren't needed anymore...? I didn't reinstall them but have noticed the obnoxious voice lines have been extremely reduced. Not sure which patch the devs made that change but damned nice little change!)
I've played with this modloader. My pc turned off and back on again and after I started the game again my safegame was gone... Are they anywhere else safed? It sucks 9 days playing and loose the progress...
as of todays new mod update this needs to be updated as well. Any chance for it? It crashes to desktop immediately. I had to remove it entirely to get my compiling shaders to even begin.
apparently its unneeded someone already made it in game under misc its called ALOHOMORA AUTO SOLVE just install it natively. I'm gonna test it out now.
@LewdciferMewstar Pretty sure you replied to the wrong forums. This is the mod loader for mods such as those (Skip Alohomora, Stand Up Straight, Character Editor, etc) Which we would still definitely like an update to if at all possible along with the aforementioned mods. Besides the auto solve does it automatically for ALL alohomora levels... I would prefer (current level and below) and not just all of them. That's too cheaty. Some of us are looking for quality of life edits and not cheats :P
Yeah I know I just remember for some reason it being a pre req to get it working so I thought it would help someone out as the other mod page wasnt as active. I ran into game breaking campaign issues I could not get past without it and it sort of became second nature to me as I progressed. I'm under the impression now that if we use the in game mods it would disable the steam achievements so if thats the case I wont use their mods til these are updated if at all and just play like normal.
mod works fine for me. i had to deinstall all mods and manualy delete all folders and files in "Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods" and then reinstall this mod.
ok so from a random discussion topic on the steam page someone said to add "hogwarts.exe" to your windows defender > virus & threat protection. So I first loaded up just graphics mods and it insta crashed as it started shaders.
Strangely enough when I added my ~mods folder with these 3 mods & the 3 from zOpenAllLocks-1011_P and it worked just like it did before the major update!
Your results may vary but its worth a shot!

This mod crashes for me. as most others do. even installed on there own 1 at a time none worked game either crashed on start up or when pausing or continuing/ starting a game, deleting folder, verifying files, nothing worked except not using mods lol. and magic gun and sound fx mods those work perfectly still. nothing else is working from what i can determine. sad day to buy hogwarts lol.
I've spent a while trying to get this to work, I feel like I've tried everything. F8, fn+f8, ctrl f8 and alt f8 don't work (my f8 is binded to my keyboard lights). I've also tried rebinding the loading command to a key on my numpad inside the engine.ini file following the instructions on the description, also didn't do anything. The file is in the ~mods folder, and I've tried redownloading it as well. Does someone have any idea what's happening???
