The mod broke my other mods, and is stuck in the game after it the infinite plant mod was uninstalled. After uninstalling all of my other mods, this one still stuck in my game even after it was no longer installed. I can't add any others mods and am stuck with the plant glitch. Help?
I just installed this mod to test for you: yes, the plants still despawn after the vanilla duration. plant quantity in your inventory does not go down.
However no longer being consumed on use you can have them out whenever and as much as you like. If you still want or need them when they expire you can keep summoning them.
The base game being balanced more towards their sparing or emergency use, this mod does make potentially overpowered.
But yer a wizard Harry which is fundamentally overpowered.
Anyone bothered by it could exercise restraint in their use, bump up the difficulty or gimp their power by wearing weak clothing.
Well even in base game with the room and fertilizer setup one will not run out of plants. One can plant enough of each combat plant to make sure he will always have the full quota pickup whenever one goes back to the RoR.
If you summoned the max 3 cabbages each fight, with max being 12 you'd need to return to the RoR in under 10 minutes.
Fair enough if you're happy with that or keeping them in reserve for major fights, but I'm really enjoying just being able to deploy them as and how I please.
Love hearing enemies complain about my vegetables.
When I manually installed this in combination some clothing/wand replacers. The game crashed on startup. I then removed your mod. Game still crashed on startup. Had to reinstall HWL in order to get the game working again with no mods.
You were right. It was one of the outfit mods (not sure which) that conflicted... which is odd. Last thing I would of expected was a model replacer with no sql records conflicting with a sql mod.
I just encountered the same myself with a merged mod. Downloaded my file again from here and confirmed it works by itself.
Checked my merge file and none of my changes had been saved. So either one of the file mergers I linked to isn't fully functional - I used the second one (https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/318) - or we both used it incorrectly.
Just merged it again using the first one (https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/178) and checked in game. Both mods work.
Sorry for not testing both file mergers myself. I started a new game to enjoy a plantastic playthrough and only just got to herbology class.
I've removed the link to that second merger from my install instructions.
Does this mod also increase the number of plants that can be spawned at once? Originally, only 3x2 cabages and 2 tentacula can be spawned, does this mod increase that threshold to infinity too?

Not sure why this happened.
This one only changes three ones to zeroes in the config database. There's not much room for things to go wrong.
Graphical mods are more complicated. One or more could be conflicting with each other, the game or even your hardware.

I've modified the description to clarify both.
It might be possible to alter those maximums but I don't think it's necessary or value adding.
My goal was to make them feel less disposable and also allow myself to enjoy them all the time rather than reserve them for major fights.
