Those are awesome renditions! and Hermione is still cute, while not looking much like Emma Watson anymore. Red hair though?
Question: I want to look at the images in the game that comprise the various and numerous wizardly/alchemical diagrams you see on the walls in the castle everywhere, which file and format are they stored in? I think I'm going to need more than the Unreal pak tool/extractor.
I have already deleted extractor … but they are somewhere in the folders. Try to search paintings or similar. I used FModel program from youtube tutorial. However I'm not sure we speaking about same images
i have yet to try this mod but downloading right away! i love the little references to harry potter so this is such a neat mod, thank you :) (hoping we can get even more student portraits from you!)
after downloading i did notice some portraits not appearing when you first go up to them and then flashing between the original portrait and the mod. also ron's portrait doesn't fit in a landscape/wide portrait. is this is bug or issue on my behalf?
About glitches Yes, this happens a lot (I think it can be fixed by tweaking settings though) The problem is basically that game optimizes everything and there's a distance at which paintings use still proxy images instead of bk2 animations from Atlas folder. I couldn't find those proxies (to replace them with mine) … maybe someone will help with this.
About Ron I also saw some distortions in the game (even with default images) - this is just how game works. I made files to match exactly to game settings (you can open original bk2 files and see how they are distorted horizontally and vertically) - by fixing one painting you will break all the others so it's better to leave them as is
If you meant that Ron has black borders to left and right - this was done specifically to match landscapes :) Otherwise it will cut vertical painting so you won't be able to see the whole image
Well jokes aside … I hope this is not another "NO to AI" conversation here
From what I know AI model is "trained" by a huge amount of pictures. And I certainly can see that one out of ten times the result looks somewhat familiar … but it's never an exact part of another's artwork, more like pixel pattern is taken. I'm no expert in how stable diffusion works or any other AIs. But how can you credit the result of it's algorithms ? One option I see is credit stable diffusion … but seems I already done this )
Ginny's background has part of one's Arcane style still (I mentioned that in credit section) and some textures are taken from search engine … so for personal use only, no paid options
I'm new to modding thing and might be missing something, if so I'll delete or change files no problem
Hello! First of all I wanted to say: The portraits look gorgeous! I wanted to ask about a version that would replace only the paintings from RoR. Specifically the portrait ones, not the landscapes. The collectible for them is called Wizarding Portrait and unlocks together with RoR itself. I believe there are 7 variants. I would really like to use those in RoR but I don't want to encounter them out in open world. Would that be possible ?
If I'm correct you want to replace animated vertical portraits from the RoR menu. Unfortunately they use the same files as in Hogwarts. Maybe there are some unique static pictures (they're locked for me now) and this is an option for customization.
I don't believe this, but maybe someone will write specific blueprint that adds new moving paintings with their unique ids etc. Or adds possibility to isolate one from random spawning around the game. I just imagining things, have no experience in UE magic )
Oh, so you're saying that RoR moving portraits aren't unique and can be encountered in other places as well ? Haven't noticed that before but I guess in hindsight it makes sense. After all, why make resources for only one place in the game ? Still, it would be nice to have those portraits replaced so I can have them in my RoR. (Also if you're looking for a suggestion for the 7th variant Neville would work out nicely. You would have the ministry 6 + Draco then)

These are photos mixed up in stable diffusion
e.g. Harry's picture can be found here (if it's okay to post links): www.harrypotterfanzone.com/harry-potter-movie-stills/movie-5/
