THE GOOD NEWS So, I've managed to take a look at MelonLoader as an alternative mod loader, and was able to get all the mods working again with that. To get started with it, visit the Mods Page for it. NOTE: I've re-written every mod to be compatible with MelonLoader, please choose the "-MELON LOADER-" version when downloading each mod.
If your BepInEx crashes or is unable to download the required files, please try the "BepInEx PRELOAD" file in the Files tab.
I don't think this issue will be fixed for a while. Checking the BepInEx compatibility, it doesn't list Unity6 as part of it, but I'm pretty sure the dev for Idle Slayer updated to Unity6 with the 6.2.0 build. Think we'd need to wait for a BepInEx update to resolve this, or to find a new way to mod the game. Appreciate all the hard work that went into making these mods though!
To run the game again, you need to uninstall the game then delete everything to reset the folder then install it again (just to play the game again and wait for the fix)

version 6.2.0 of the game dropped today. Tried to launch it and it immediately crashed when trying to load passed the title screen. Tried launching both the normal version and the preload but i couldn't get it working, even without plugins. Hopefully the update for both these and the mods here will be a quick fix.
(if i knew how to downpatch to the previous version so i could continue using the mods i would, but i'm not sure that's possible.)

File name: 'UnityEngine.CoreModule, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' at BepInEx.Unity.IL2CPP.IL2CPPChainloader.OnInvokeMethod(IntPtr method, IntPtr obj, IntPtr parameters, IntPtr exc)
Looks like bepinex is failing to generate unity files for some reason, all I can suggest is to delete the "interop" folder inside the BepInEx folder, and then try running it again
No you don't need Unity installed - and shouldn't have to, this build of bepinex should work for the mods - it's worth trying out a newer version instead of older though. If you go here and try build #733 https://builds.bepinex.dev/projects/bepinex_be it might just work out for you

Ah - well good to know that VPNs will cause issues for BepInEx downloads.. you should be good turning hamachi back on after bepinex has done its thing though i think! Glad to hear you got it working though

Running version 16.1.12 and it doesnt work. i dont know why... All files are in the correct place and as long as the "core" folder exists inside the bepinex folder, the game will not run whatsoever. the bepinex window will show up, show a bunch of errors and then close on its own.
Having an issue getting the game to run after installation of the file. Verified that the path and folders are in the correct area but still no luck. Was able to copy the text code from the prompt screen if I need to post it for research. All files downloaded have to be deleted for me to run game again. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thank you! Running version 16.1.12 * Nevermind, it had to do with what network I was connected to.
So I am a bit confused about where I put the BepInEx folder. Do I put it in the Idle Slayer_Date folder or do I put it in the folder that has the exe file for Idle Slayer?
