For those who can't get it to work, first make sure you put the right files in the right folders. I'll list the steps and possible problems below (I recommend using Windows 11 24H2. You may get errors that mods can't run on Windows 10. This is just a personal suggestion) {Step 1}: Download InZOI Mod Enabler to your PC {Step 2}: Open the InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip file you downloaded [Windows 11 users]: Right-click the InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip file, click Properties, General, Opens with, set Opens with to File Explorer, then open InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip. There should be a BlueClient folder in InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip,please check the picture
[Windows 10 users]: Use the unzip application to open the InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip file. Download the Windows x64 (64-bit) version from the official 7zip website https://www.7-zip.org/. After the installation is complete, right-click InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip, Opens with, Pick the Choose another app option, Select Choose another app from your computer, Find the 7zip folder, Select 7zipfm and open it, Set it as the default app to open zip files, Then use 7zip to open InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip file, there should be a BlueClient folder {Step 3}: Now go to steam, right click on inzoi, please check the picture
Manage, Browse local files, after that you will see the game path as shown in the picture,This is the game path, please check the picture
{Step 4}: Open your game path inZOI\BlueClient\Binaries\Win64, then open the BlueClient folder of the InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip file, open Binaries, open Win64, in the Win64 folder of the inZOI Mod Enabler.7zip file, there is a bitfix folder and dsound.dll file, copy the bitfix folder and dsound.dll file to the game path inZOI\BlueClient\Binaries\Win64 This is your game's Win64 folder, please check the picture
This is the Win64 folder of your InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip file, please check the picture
{Step 5}: Install other mods, not InZOI Mod Enabler, such as Remove Shower Blur made by FrancisLouis for inzoi.create a folder called ~mods in your game path "inZOI\BlueClient\Content\Paks",please check the picture
the mod you downloaded should have .pak, .utoc, and .ucas three types of files to modding inzoi,(These three are not the type of InZOI Mod Enabler, InZOI Mod Enabler have the bitfix folder and dsound.dll file), then put all the mods you downloaded into it,please check the picture
Possible problems 1: Crash immediately after loading the game. This may happen once or twice when launching a modded inzoi. (I can play normally after one or two crashes. I rarely encounter crashes during the game.) 2: Mods not working. Check whether there is a bitfix.txt file in inZOI\BlueClient\Binaries\Win64. This txt file is the operation log of InZOI Mod Enabler. If there is no such file, it proves that InZOI Mod Enabler did not run successfully. Try to change dsound.dll to d3d9.dll. If it still does not work, could be the system don't realize the dll file then you can try download DirectX Runtime package from Microsoft (Solution from helience"https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/helience") DirectX Runtime package "https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109" After installation the DirectX Runtime package, remember to keep the dsound.dll file name in the game path win64 as it is(for example, if you changed the file name to d3d9.dll, remember to change it back to dsound.dll.)
or you can upgrading the system to Windows 11 24h2 to solve the problem. I am not professional. If you encounter problems with the mods, please feedback to the creator.
i get the dsound and bitfix but no paks or anything. and it broke my game twice when the files wernt in there anymore, ive extracted it a million times and it does nothing of what the files are suppose to do. it shown all the files once but still wouldnt work and idk how i got the files. but i deleted to try again and none of the files show again. i have windows 11
i am also using gforce and i had to have it downloaded from steam onto my desktop so it creates the download path , downloaded to add mods , then follow this , should work :)
do u mean JUST replace the BINARIES subfolder of BLUECLIENT??
As the MODDED BLUECLIENT folder structure ONLY has BINARIES subfolder and not the additional CONTENTS and PLUGINS subfolders as the originally installed game?
I can run the mod and the game perfectly fine, then I reinstalled my laptop, extract and put the mod exactly same with my last time, but my game won't run, delete the bitfix folder and dsound.dll the game is running fine, changing the dsound.dll to d3d9.dll, the game crashes many times, I can't go through the game, maybe author can sort this? @FrancisLouis
EDIT :
Okay here is the thing, if you failed to run this mod or your game won't run (instant crashed), the dsound.dll won't inject the mod into your game (could be the system don't realize the dll), you can try to install DirectX Runtime package from Microsoft, here is the link :
Install it and your mod should be running, it will install the dsound.dll related files so your system and your game will realize the dll is the system dll. CMIIW.
Thank you for the solution helience, I was also unable to run the mod before, and was troubled for a day, I tried many methods and searched for solutions on the Internet but to no avail, I know how it feels, At that time, I didn't know that this DirectX Runtime package could solve the problem, I have put this solution in my guide and pointed out you as the provider to help more people.
Having no luck unfortunately. W11 24h2, reinstalled directx from the link provided, tried dsound and d3d9. Not crashing, its just simply not loading. No bitfix file is being generated.
Any idea if Mod Enabler uses or installs other files/folders outside of the Steam game directory folder? I got everything to work perfectly on my Windows 11 partition using a shared BTRFS D drive for the game storage location, but even with all of the mod files in place and working from Windows they won't load from the Bazzite partition.
Really? I couldn't get the game to work on Bazzite under any circumstances unless I specifically used GE-Proton9-26. Now the game runs fine but will not load mods even though they work on my Windows 11 partition using the exact same game folder files on a shared BTRFS drive.
Bei mir funkzoniert wieder mal garnicht´s, Danke Vortex das alles hier so kompliziert gemacht wird. Egal ob InZoi, Fallout oder andere Games...... Nix geht !!!
I tried the steps carefully: 1st i opened the path -> inZOI\BlueClient\Binaries\Win64 then i past the content of the zip folder "InZOI Mod Enabler.7zip" there the game is not able to lunch, it tried after that to deletes the files from Win64 the game back working normally.
please note that i tried to relaunch the game more than 7 times but still with no luck also i restarted my PC after this but still with no luck. I am using windows 11 22H2 and i unzipped the files by 7zip application.
i tried to install the directx from your link but also i tried to change the name of the dll file but the mod is not working i tried as some one he said to add thedsound as well but still again the game not able to work

there is a BLUECLIENT folder already installed with the game
the instructions dont mention how to treat this?
i copied the mod BLUECLIENT folder as per instructions and renamed the old / installed one to *BKP
the instructions instruct to create a ~MOD folder in CONTENTS..... BUT in the new BLUECLIENT folder this folder does not exist?
it only exists in the originally installed folder?
this doesnt make sense?
