For anyone wanting to uninstall the mod, user eljonagood suggested that you go to user/your username/appdata/local/blueclient and delete the folder named "saved" then once you get in game delete the PSO cache and for it to take effect restart the game, so far that should be the only way to get rid of the mod :)
If you look at the images very close nothing looks different only seen camera move just a slight and a sun or light difference otherwise nothing is enhanced...
how do i uninstall it completely? i deleted the mod and the mod enabler and its still working somehow, i can tell because there's no chromatic aberration still. I wanna delete it because it messed up the draw distance things are popping in like crazy and it wasn't happening before :( (also this was the only mod i installed) edit: reinstalling the game didn't work to remove the mod
You could always install UE4SS, enable its console, and type a few commands to set the settings back to what they were You'd need to use FModel to see what this mod is actually changing, and to find the default values of these... I guess create a new save without the mod and enter the name of the setting without any value in UE4SS console, it should give you its current value Then set these settings back to these values in your problematic save, and save the game.
But I'm fairly certain deleting this pak from the ~mods folder should be enough, maybe try to reset the ingame settings first (change the graphic quality preset to medium and back to what you want)
tbh i have no experience with UE4SS but I tried making a new save as you suggested and i even cleared the PSO cache but nothing worked, the mod remains on all saves even past ones so i'll just accept that the game is gonna be this way till the mod author makes a fix for it
haven't tried THIS mod but have had the issue you'r talking about before. basically there was a folder (not where i had saved it/was managing it from) that teh file got saved into. maybe not the same, but worth looking around the game files, if its showing, then its in there SOMEWHER
I see alot of people having Problems with the Uninstalling of the mod completely. The best solution i can think of is to Verify your files in the games steam properties. (even tho removing the pak should get rid of it all)
If this doesn't help for you wait for Francislouis himself to make a fix for it. Other than my solution i can't help any more.
Somethings wrong and I cant tell if its my fault or not. I installed it and I still have render distance like 10 meters from me. Did I skip some step or it was really just put file into mods folder?
