    Hi keyavain.

Again thanks for your new Mercs.
I must admit I like them more for there new Perks you create rather than for the mercenaries themself. Flo and Spider excepted ;-)
Just one question about Lt Horge. At this point, why didn't you add him the "GrizzlyPerk" and even the "BulletHell" perks ? That would be logical with a guy who uses only such a machine gun, no ?

And still one question please... how to mod existing Perks ?

    Thanks in advance keyavain.

      Hi,

      You are welcome again.
Yes, perks are fun to think of and create -  even considering some limitations especially my knowledge of certain game mechanics and lua, but gradually I'm improving.
At one point I have even added GrizzlyPerk to him (in addition). Tried it for a bit, but In the end I decided against it.
      Why?
      - It made Stogie very accurate with Bessie, but I wanted to still keep some inaccuracy with the extreme power for the M134 Minigun. It is harder to aim, sparying bullets all over at longer ranges, but when it hits, it always hits hard. Still it is very accurate with Stogie, but at least not pinpoint. There always needs to be a bit of downside, otherwise it's easily boring on the long run.
      - I am trying to make a new perk for all mercs to make them unique also in this regard. In this sense I did a lazy job with Lynx and Buzz, but well - I might revisit them later - or not ;)
      - You can think of "Bessie" as being the real "Perk"/benefit for Stogie, and not the Perk itself. Bessie is a beast. His perk only "feeds the beast", the real MVP of the build.

Hmmm, how to mod existing Perks , it's such an open ended question. I propose you start with checking out a simpler perk, and try changing a parameter or two, and see how it goes. Logs are helping in debug. You learn slowly. Sometimes it's frustrating, there are limitations, but it's good when you finally succeed.

Oh, and if you use ChatGPT, you could copy-paste a code snipet and ask it to explain it to you. It's not a silver bullet, but at times it helps with the understanding.

      Cheers.
