Looks great, and I know this mod is nearly 3 years old now... but any plans to make this a new cosmetic rather than a replacement? I'd love to use both this and the default model together. No pressure obv, just curious :)
Yeah, but it's good enough of a proxy to one; if it's near-impossible to remove the sheet of armor from the Ankylosaurus, why not just work around it by editing another dino that is close enough to the Anky anyway?
Pretty simple, we want to use both species. You're free to do what you want with your game, but I'm going to keep one of the most accurately rendered dinosaurs in the game instead of just using it to make a proxy for another dinosaur that's already in the game. I don't care if it's not 100% accurate, just making it look a bit better like I've done here is fine by me. I never use species replacement mods, only time I'd ever consider it would be with the Stygi and Dracorex since they're pretty likely just growth stages of Pachys, and it'd be nice to have more variety in the Pachycephalosaurids.

It's one of those dinosaur groups that dramatically changed in looks over the years, not unlike dromaeosaurs.
It's almost impossible to make a believable ankylosaurus out of the og model. The LA tarchia kinda shows how ankylosaurs must look.
