Just like the male and female Velociraptors in Jurassic Park 3, there was originally supposed to be male and female Pteranodons as well. This cosmetic variant is based off of the unused male concept art.

The male or "alpha" Pteranodon variant never made it into the movies, but like The Lost World Geosternbergia, the concept art became widely used in the toys. Now you can include it in your park as well!
To install: Make sure you have the latest version of ACSE installed Copy the extracted folder into your \steamapps\common\Jurassic World Eveolution 2\Win64\ovldata folder Run the game
Disclaimer: This is technically considered a new species, and as such has all of the new species issues Do not view the animal in the Species Viewer and then open the main game. You will need to restart the game. Some animations may not work, and may not ever be fixed. There is currently an issue with the skin UI not showing in the hatchery. I believe this is a mod glitch that can't be fixed, but I will continue to research a solution.
Updates will break the mod. If you downloaded this mod after an update, there's a chance the mod won't work. It may take a long time after game updates before mods can be fixed. Verified working as of version 1.7.2
Big thanks to Kai for his Wee Toolbox which I used for some pics.
