I'm happy to elaborate on something if it's unclear, but be aware that I won't be answering questions from anyone who just wants to skip the time I already put into this and instead get a personalised answer. I'm not your personal tutor, I have things to be getting on with.
Seems to crash, I do have a bit of mods but the only thing i found causing conflict is this mod itself, I've added the first config file into the pack so. is that a issue?
Nah definitely not, my mods are typically very small in filesize since they're mostly code, not models, and code is just text which doesn't take up much disk space. If anything it'd be your internet connection, not necessarily your PC - but try again later, Nexus has almost weekly hiccups at this point so my first assumption would be that Nexus is having issues rather than your internet.
Any luck figuring what exactly triggers the model glitch issue ? I have noticed that it doesn't happen right away on a new game, but eventually it always shows up as the game progress. it's most obvious on heavily feathered animals like Deinocheirus on which the feathers disappear but all animals are affected to some degree as well as plant models, scenery etc. edit :Digging through earlier comments I saw a response from the author on this subject. If it's really due to an error made by devs when updating the game that limitates the number of models loaded by the engine and that can't be corrected with modding then there's never going to be a fix sadly. If it's due to the game loading improper lods it would require tricking the game into loading the correct ones instead but my understanding of this is very profane....
Does this impact or help performance? Its just something ive been wondering since theres techically less models involved right? Or maybe the game usually keeps the inside of normal forests very low quality to save on performance, idk.
Hello, Kai, I'm a big fan of your work; Mods are the best on here and your videos are so helpful. I know you're busy and you may have been asked this many times, but do you know of anyway to change the Biome paint tools? I had downloaded this wonderfully useful and comprehensive mod with the hopes that it may also be possible to change Mediterranean terrain paint tools to tropical. Since then I have found nothing in my search, do you know if this is something we may ever see or am I dreaming.
I'm surprised to find someone here hoping for the same thing I want in game! I have an otherwise beautiful Mediterranean park that is stuck with nothing but sand and rock for terrain paint. I just want to be able to have a green grass texture option for a botanical garden but as you said, there's nothing like that anywhere on Nexus from what i can tell. Just downloading this mod now to see if any of the 90 brushes will function this way!
There's a greener Mediterranean mod, that makes a big difference. Between the two mods you can make something that looks really good. However you're gonna be stuck with lots of sand and white rocks

As well as both Steam/Epic Games versions and the slightly different installation/uninstallation on the Windows Store/Xbox GamePass version
