Everytime I opent the game it will let me into the game, but when I try to open settings it crashes. Or when I get into a sandbox and press esc, it just crashes. I followed the tutorial and did it that way and it still crashes. I just want to play JWE2 so any help would be helpful.
Hey, i installed the general KiaCore mod and whenever i open jwe2, it says the version is out of date and i need version 1.5 or higher. The version i have installed is the newest release and i have no idea why its doing this. I took the time and downloaded and placed every version in the file and it sill didn't work. Can someone help me?
Hello I recently got the game on epic when installing mods I downloaded this and the menu mod. When loading up the game with the mod installed I says that I need version 1.5 or above of this mod. It also says that I do not have the mod installed. It also seems to be crashing m game when it and asce and the menu only are installed and I go into the mods menu. I tried deleting and redownloaded the mod and also tried deleting and redownloading the game. Neither of these have worked. This may be my own error but other people seem to be having the same. Please help
Hello Kai, I updated to the latest version and now my game is no longer working. Every time I open the game it only goes to the cutscene before opening the main menu, then a warning appears and the game closes. Do you know how to fix it or is it a glitch in the new version?
Hey - can you upload or send a pic of your ovldata folder? If it's installed incorrectly, you can end up with both versions and that could cause problems. Alternatively, you can try removing the other mods (aside from ACSE), launching the game, closing the game, then pasting the old mods back in. Just dragging and dropping them to the "Steam\steamapps\common" folder will uninstall them (or the Epic equivalent - so long as they're nowhere within the Jurassic World Evolution 2 folder). This shouldn't have to be done, but on some drives (especially if it's your Windows drive) the game can struggle with load order and sometimes (though rarely) even updated mod folders.
