I may update it at some point if I get the time, but no promises, I've been extremely busy with irl stuff, so I don't really have much time for modding. However it's more likely that I'll use what time I do have to update this instead of working on a different mod if people actually do still want to use this mod and want it updated
yeah if you can, ive tried modding it myself but when i injected the file back into the ovl, it had no effect on gameplay, when i edited the =curetime = 50
Hello there. Could there be a way to implement a permanent/non-permanent (if lets say treated) heath loss status that would work by lowering the life points (a certain % of the life bar)? I think it would be a nice addition to this new injury system.
Did you wait 50 seconds? Also what specific major injuries? Because the swallowed phone and swallowed objects are set to heal after 180 seconds for JP3 reasons.
It's not working for me either, I've replaced the "Main.ovl" in /Content0 and none of my dinos are healing. I'm not sure where this "Readme" is but it's not in the files and I don't see it in the description :\
I tested it out before this weekend, it needs to be updated, I will be updating it soon, however I am super busy atm, so it could be anywhere from today to a week from today, but I will try to get it done sooner rather than later
I am still planning to update it at some point, but I have been extremely busy with life atm and haven't really had any time to mod, hopefully I can get it updated soon, but I don't want to give a number of days or anything as I really don't know how long it will be, it could be anywhere from a few days to a month or more, but hopefully I will have it done sooner rather than later though
Make it so that people can customize the amount of time it takes to heal because some people, like me, would prefer having injuries take a longer amount of time to heal for realism but others might want the healing process to be quick.
I am not currently sure exactly how to make a config thing to edit it, but if you are using the injectable version, you can edit that anyways by opening it with notepad++ and then changing the "nCureTime" value to be whatever you want it to be, and the value is in seconds btw
I would suggest to just download manually, I am not really sure about Vortex, because no mod has ever downloaded for me when I would click on vortex, so yeah I suggest manually.
I am not sure why it is doing this, but it says on my end: This file is currently being uploaded to our CDN servers. If this is taking longer than expected, please contact a moderator or email us.
well you just uploaded it on NexusMods so they have to scan the files for any virus. If there's a virus they'll delete it and if it doesn't have any then it'll say the it's safe to use. Just give it some time
yeah it's fine now. Also there're 2 files in there. I'm assuming that the database.c0injurydata.lua is the one that you need to inject in the Main.ovl yourself and the Main.olv is the one that has the database.c0injurydata.lua in already
This is a great idea. But a bit overkill for my personal tastes. Especially now that MVUs can be assigned to a ranger post and basically automated. I'd rather see something that makes the common cold and the major injuries that require airlifts be changed so that the MVU can just handle them in the field. But this mod is a great starting point!
It's definitely possible to do the major injuries thing, that would just take making them into minor injuries. But I did this because some people might want to make like a prehistoric ecosystem, and they aren't gonna want to have MVUs driving around healing dinosaurs. And as for the common cold thing, I would have to look into that further, as that is already natural so making it not natural or like make it possible to heal with the MVUs would likely be harder.
