Maybe have an armour piece instead that makes use of the samurai armour's debuff to damage?
EDIT: Actually did it myself, but the damage can't be reduced to zero no matter how low the negative value gets for some reason. So I guess training weapons are it.
I'm having an issue with the mod, i installed it through the mod manager, it installed and i learned the research. but now the recipe isnt appearing in my crafting menu. I'm new to kenshi so if im missing a step can someone let me know?
after crafting the marital art binding, i see no equipment spawned but it equipped into the crafter automatically. How to remove that marital art binding?
Right, so the issue is that these bindings have no model/inventory icon and when your smith equips them along another weapon, they can be easily missed. They look just like extended background, like with the first weapon on the picture, but they are there. Otherwise, great mod, btw.
I am noobly dumbfounded...probably overlooking something really obvious here, but how exactly do the weapons work? Research and production worked out just fine, but now I am stuck; beating on dummies doesn't do squat, squadmates cannot beat on each other, I don't see a hold-right option for "sparring" or anything, even with both characters having a training weapon equipped, so how will these get me trained?
To all of the people confused on how this works, kidnap the strongest person you can find, equip them with these weapons which causes them to do no damage, then equip your fighters with these weapons so that they don't knock out their new "training dummy". Swap to a real weapon to knock out the prisoner when the training is done and put them in a cage/pole.
Edit: Forgot to mention that you shouldn't fight your captive in town, because the town guards will break down your doors to slaughter the poor fellow the second you start fighting. It is possible to keep the captive in a cage in town until use, just make sure you walk them well out town before putting them down.
Yeah, that's basically training dojo strategy, but without numerous pit stops every time one of the trainees gets injured. Greatly saves time on grind and micromanagement.
You can probably add spike knuckles inventory icon to Martial Arts Training Bindings, or reuse martial artist bindings that already exists in the game!
good mod works just fine but damn are training weapons op. really trivializes the whole game if you have a high level prisoner to train on so i stopped using it
So I have a small problem I downloaded the version in which there is no damage while using the weapons... the first day it went perfectly... but today it stopped working... the ''training dummy'' takes no damage, but my own character I'm training is taking damage... it shows (0) all the time but in few moves, he's already low hp and I checked it multiple times... any solutions?
