hey i like this mod but i have two big issues with this the 12 chargs per faction and the 2 slots can you make a version without touching those? i play with 100 charg limit and 5x slot mod
Great mod that i have been enjoying. Strongly suggest doing a new game with it, as dropping it in midgame won't have the intended effect. I think some people get the wrong impression about this mod - like yes you can still loot a bunch of corpses and sell everything for some cats, all these systems and methods are still in place, but instead of ended up with $50,000, youll be at a mere $5,000 (just a example). And yes, you won't become a millionaire by looting the Skimmers, thats the entire point of the mod. I can still make cats doing all of these things, just not as much cats.
That sound like top. add more details, take more screenshots. It's a great mod - make it look good.
upd. its been 7 hour of playing with this mod by now, and i have some thoughts about it. There is no logic in many items and loot prices. Hunting on animal was over profitable in vanila - yes, but with this mod is exactly opposite, it's not rewarding at all. Skimmer for instance was worth 540cat, without meat, now its only 32? 2 claws worth 17, really? And pelts now worth almost 8 time less? its not 1/4 or 1/3 as in description. All this make hunting not worth time/effort, i think it should be one of the way to make cats. Also bye/sell price on pelt should be equal. It is good to reduce value of ore - especially copper, but i think buying price should be equal selling. Prices on loot is overcutted, need to add 7-10% on sell price. selling person in slavery is more profitable then his gear and again it's not worth time/effort. Trading is not an option if its no goods to bye. only a drugs and few item left worth to bye. Alcohol, materials and technologies should have same bye/sell price and different %value in towns, otherwise trading is dead Tuned everything a bit, don't just kill the source of profit - make it balanced and worth time/effort, rewarding - but not imbalanced The game need rebalance like this one, and you certainly have a skill and idea how to do so. In current state its not playable, least not for most players. I hope to see some updates in future. Sorry for my english.
Oh my god, this is EXACTLY the mod I have been looking for, your thoughts regarding the game difficulty were mine exactly, and these modifications sound perfect. I'm starting a new game with it now... fingers crossed !
edit: OK, Choosing to fire up the 'one armed and broke' beginning, I have given this mod a 30 day run, and whilst it is a tad harder, its still WAY too easy.
Sadly a large number of game facets need to be almost completely ignored, cash is far from difficult to obtain, you only need to head into certain areas and mop up after a bunch of NPC's duke it out, and this can be done in relative safety. Paladin crosses are plentiful in the foothills near Bast and sell for a pretty hefty pricetag. I found that bounty hunting was a decent source of cash, but unfortunately, Its only as simple as needing to find a high bounty target and quietly follow him until a bunch of skimmer took him out to collect the bounty, by day 10 I had bought myself a masterwork 'steady' replacement arm.
Thievery is still WAY OP, and sadly I found I had to completely ignore this throughout my playthrough.
This mod is a definite must, as without it things are ridiculously easy, I'm not sure how difficult it is to mod this all out completely (I imagine its not an easy task though), but in light of that, I do hope Kenshi 2 will be much better in this respect.

Hi. Love the mod, it made life harder and I havent even recruited another pawn. So heres my problem. Was it intentional for beak thing eggs price remain the same? If it is like bandit bounty, may I ask to like, reduce the number of eggs in every nests around 1-3 eggs, 1 egg very common while 3 eggs very rare occurrence. I find it too easy to make money. Gonna come back if I find something else that makes everything easy. Thank you very much for the mod, keep up the good work. Got bored with easy money. One more thing, is it possible to have some bandits to not roam and just stay in their camps coz it annoyed me hunting them. Making money right now by getting those dust bandit boss bounty. Thanks again.
This may be my next play through. lets see if i can break it and find an easy way to survive. I am thinking stealth may still be a broken way to get everything you ever need
Лучше будет убрать экономику, никакой торговли, никаких продавцов. Все только крафтится и воруется, вот тут будет куда интересней играть. Но пока еще такого мода не видел.
Nice mod, I feel the same way about how the game becomes too easy. In my own experience, I ended up printing money by smithing katanas. They take little material to produce, they're light to carry as a trade good, and they sell really high, even to cultures that disdain use of flimsy weapons. Didn't make any sense to me. I also lost any sense of survival once I realized an archer can produce infinite meat in Skinner's Roam. Oh and forget about Leviathan Coast, that place leaves meat on the floor.
I feel like the game is just impossible to balance though. Reducing resource gain can be solved by having fewer characters, so a mod like this will just funnel people into certain playstyles. Like for example a solo thief build will still be super easy, since you only have one person to feed, and you can get as much food/gear as you want. You can lower the amount of stuff that spawns, but it would just take a little longer to reach the point where you have everything you need.
