    grog doesnt make sense. If anything it should come from standard med kits, and should still be profitable.

      this was the request about alternative medicine made from alcohol,
      when it's made from alcohol it takes some prices like greater than 2k cats each med supply, that is why I removed the profit to bring it's price down,
      it still costs 3 times more than a basic first aid kit... it was basically so that the requester has the option to make some meds without fabrics(/cloth?).
      ...
      in your version would it be made from two standard med kits, ? would its effect also double? and what about profit?
      (price of 1 item is calculated from the production materials times profit rate of each item,
      if one standard med kit is around 100 the final supply will be 200; if it has profit rate than it only adds to that,
      making it even more expensive )

      as it stands, medical supplies is listed as trade goods, meaning its price can rise and fall depending on region modifiers. It also can be sold via the shop counter building if you have some way of producing them.

      medical supplies is also a high tech item btw, and i believe is required to make advanced first aid kits.

      Im not opposed to giving players a way to make bandages without fabric, but grog isnt the answer:) If youve ever had real grog, like as in the Caribbeans, you wouldnt ever use it for anything medical unless you were in serious dire need of straight alcohol to pour on a festering wound...heh. Even rum is probably too polluted....sake would actually be better.

      Profitability of items always comes down to a few things, Can i make enough to make a difference over selling equipment?, Can i transport enough to make a difference?, Where can i sell it at reasonable prices? and can i make the trip to sell such items?. Thats why the hashish run from Shark to Tech Town is so profitable....you have bloodspiders, beak things and roving well armed gangs to deal with. Gotta be fasty fast athletics, need to have about 25k cats already, and have a leveled and fast pack animal.

      Fabric can be tough unless you have access to a good supply of cotton or hemp, but the tech to make it is fairly low and there are a couple of safer spots, even starting at the hub, to start manufacturing it.

      Why not just make some herbal medicine a low tier research item? Call it Eastern medicine, and make it simply out of plants...probably not as effective as med kits but hey, its starting off stuff. You could put it into basic cooking.

      give me the info for the mod, i said before if you want to make the version you want.
      what is it made from, how much, if has profit how much... stuff like that...
      if you want the medical supply item to be untouched i can do that a new item...
      i can make a new eastern medic supply item, made from 2 advanced kits... or what ever
      I will make a new mod, just tell me what you want.
