To install any mod manually, you simply drop the mod folder and all of its contents in your /kenshi/mods folder. The name of the folder and the name of the mod must be identical, ex. if the folder is named Slopeless, the mod must be named Slopeless.mod. If it's not showing up in your mods list, then it's most likely due to that.
I have been working on a mod bugfix/QoL-lite compilation called the Unofficial Patches for Kenshi, and I was wondering if I may include this mod in that compilation? All credit would go towards you of course.
ENG:Thank you very much for creating such a wonderful mod like this, now I can create a base in the mountains and have my settlement, my base well protected from all assaults. It is greatly appreciated that you uploaded a more updated version here for those people who do not have the steam version. I hope to enjoy the mod you have created a lot.
Hi thank you for the mod Unfortunately i cant seem to make the" snap into place" keys work they do nothing for me is it because i use an europaen keyboard? (danish) the noncollision works so i guess the mod is active. Thanx
Yes, walls are still problematic; but use of '+' and '-' keys to raise/lower newest wall segment sorts the issue. After placing, press ctrl + alt + f11, save, reload.
With building placement on slopes, the key is placing the entrance downslope, allowing the building to edge into the hillside. Some building also seem to contour to slopes better than others; e.g. the Bughouse, Stephouse, Stormhouse.
With the Moisture Farming mod (for water) & Hydroponics, it's possible to create self-sufficient mountaintop bases!
Caution: once placed into sleep slopes, it doesn't seem possible to dismantle a building. Just discovered that I blocked off the path to the upper buildings of my perfect mountain base with a building...that now will not give the 'dismantle' option...Crap. Have to restart the base.
Slopeless only affects vanilla buildings, genesis has its own assets/buildings and this mod doesn't have a "storage shed", unless your referring to the Small Shack, maybe you ask the genesis author
Great mod, but the walls are completely useless, looks like a kid tried to make a wall out of rectangular blocks. Holes big enough for me to walk through. Guess this gets rid of any wall glitching...dont need a glitch anymore.

I'll be glad that the mod receives upkeep, it's still very much used and appreciated
I've had that a lot from messing around with shift-f12, and also from starting new game without first exiting old game.

And thanks to Hieronymos2 for these tips, much appreciated.
