PTF stands for Patched Table Files. Instead of overwriting the whole table the game uses, it patches and overwrites only the added/altered entries so mods that alter the same tables are compatible with each other. Unless they alter the same entries, of course...
2.Not getting perk points when installed midgame
Use Leathan Water potion to recall all points that would have been awarded at the matching level. And to "start" the mod if installed midgame.
3.Does not work on version 1.x.x.x.x
Working on game versions 1.9.4, 1.9.5 and 1.9.6.
4.Does this mod add more level/perk points to those skill trees that had perks added?
Yes.
Maximum perk points you can get in a skill tree is 10.
5.Does it works with Hardcore mode?
Yes.
6.Is this compatible with Polearms Unleashed?
Since PU is PTF made, the perks from PU will be added into base game perk.xml same way as Perkaholic polearm perks. They will merge together.
Skill.xml in PU is same as it is in Perkaholic so one will overwrite other depending on your mod_order. This isn't going to cause any mod conflict.
Save to use with PU.
7.Houndmaster skill/perks tree do not work after installing this mod.
Since it is asked alot...
Perkaholic PTF CANNOT create this problem! It is PTF made and it do NOT touch anything about Houndmaster.
If it missing on your side, problem is somewhere else! (missing DLC, old perkaholic leftovers, any old mod that edits whole skill, perk.xml, etc..)
Hi, does the perks stack or affect if you are using other weapons ? Example mace has the perk Brute - using maces or other strength weapon (longswords) you deal 2.5 more damage . does it work for any strength weapon or only maces and clubs like more categories from which the Weapon is part of .
mod is great but using it in a late game save really isnt cause i cant get any of the perks at lv 20 on everything can you give a list of the perk ids so i can put them in via console? cause i dont want to start over just to get a few perks
Edit: For anyone else suffering this issue, use WinRAR to extract the downloaded perkaholic file, and you'll get the stuff of the mod! Hope this helps someone suffering the same issue.
YOU SIR are a legend. I was going mad with this issue, even support on nexus was not sure why it was happening. More fool me for relying on windows to do ANYTHING correctly haha
Because you are the perk expert I will ask you a question related to them. Feel free to ignore me since it is not directly related to your mod, more of a general question.
Is it possible to perhaps modify a perk in the Mule tree that gives str/vit experience while being overencumbered? I know KCD2 fixes this oversight by giving you experience while painfully walking around, so I am wondering how hard would it be to implement that in KCD1
Maybe such mod already exists, and I am just blind. I saw a lot of mods that increase the carrying capacity, but not with this particular goal in mind: giving a positive effect when a debuff is triggered.
Thanks to everyone that invested their time reading this.
Edit: Maybe it is vanilla behavior already and it is just broken in my savefile for some reason... I will feel very dumb/mad if that was the case.
Hey boss, issue with the mod when downloading. It only exports a HTML file. I've tried downloading on Chrome, Firefox and IOS I have the same issue with Noble Hats, Knight Great Helm, Black Items Fix, Weapon Cruncher FIx, Standalone Pack and Yet Another Sorting Mod Nexus support thought it might be to do with the packing as they are all your mods and one of the support team was getting the same issue. I know they used to work as they were some of my fav mods last playthrough So I'm wondering if an update broke them. Cheers boss James J
