This mod not only messes up houndmaster and horse riding! Where those two have minimal progression, Vitality and Speech have increased progression! When I disabled the mod, both went down from 20 to (about) 12 (and main level dropped correspondingly). When re-enabling the mod they jumped up to 20 again. I also had the feeling Agility progression was slower than it should be, but I am not 100% sure about that.
Instead I now use "Increase inventory capacity - PTF Edition" (https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/1098) which seems to work glitch free.
I have a new ptf mod that increases the MULE perk to give more capacity, so it feels more immersive and earned. Only its mixed into a whole perk buff mod. But it works with no bugs.
Confirmed, tested mods I had by removing them one by one until this one was left and after removing it all the sudden my dog finally started getting xp again like crazy. seriously thought I was doing something wrong with the dog. may want to consider fixing this in a future update.
I feel foolish but I'm unable to get this mod to work. I downloaded and extracted it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods and it shows in the kcd.txt int the main KCD program folder. I tried adding the data\base_carry_weight_50000.pak to the pak.cfg in the data folder and tried a new playthrough in the game. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Please please help. I'm so frustrated by the low carry weight in this game.
I very first tried extracting to /mods without any additional steps. I tried the additional steps because it wasn't working.
I can't even find the rpg_parax.xml anywhere in my game folder. I even tried searching the computer. Is it a hidden file or am I missing something (which is entirely probable).
Downloaded the mod, and it works. Got to 50140 at max strength (my vanilla is only 206). It also increased my horse's carry weight limit as well. My Pegasus with 344 carry weight got 80000+ now lmao. Now off I go killing and looting Cumans then pick flowers.
Didn't use Vortex btw, just created a Mod folder inside the main files and voila.

I guess you have other mod that overwrites it (.pak that includes rpg_param.xml)
