This is my new favorite clock. I only wish you'd made it sooner, because now it's a lot less annoying watching the time slide by at a snail's pace. I dare say I even enjoy waiting now. It's almost like looking out a window while the time goes by, since the images used seem perfectly accurate to the look of the world at a given time of day. 10/10.
Thanks. Yeah sorry, I've just bought the game a few weeks ago. This game was on my todo list since its release. If you have any suggestion what to improve or if you want a different version write it here and I'll see what is possible.
But I still HATE that the wheel turns so slow and I couldn't find a setting for it. The normal move speed - ok, but the slowdown at the end is really annoying. The only fix I've found for this is: when I want to wake up at 6am I set the target time to at least 8am and cancel the sleep at 6am manually when the wheel is still at "full speed" :-D
I spent a good bit of time a while back trying to find a parameter to change the last hour waiting myself, since it single-handedly makes waiting the most unpleasant thing to do. Most painful of all if you just need to wait an hour or less lol. I did find a file that looked promising, but didn't spot any setting that seemed to have any chance of mattering to the problem.
I imagine if it were changed you'd load back in to see an incomplete game world while it finished any rendering and NPC routines (or maybe the devs just thought making the last hour take forever would add to the realism..), but I'd prefer that to watching 1 hour take the equivalent of 10. Waiting longer and then canceling early does help sometimes, but sometimes it just makes it stall for an extra 10 seconds anyway. That method probably works better depending on your hardware I imagine, but I do find it preferable to the 1 hour slow slide.
Also can't think of any suggestions at the moment, though if something jumps out at me while I finish the last few quests I'll try to mention it.
