i want to use the manually way to use your Mod. (your mod + UnlimitedSaving mod), i think. (because i do know other compatible mods)
i download your "Unlimited Weight-12-1-0-1745691673", extract that, then open new (second) window in my explorer and select to: .. \Kingdom Come Deliverance\Mods (Mods Folder i created).
Now i put in that Mods Folder your "Unlimited_Weight" Folder.
Hello, it's not working after deactivte and activte them with the Mod Manager. The Mod Manager shows me the Mods ist working, also i save and refresh it.
I have delete the Unlimited Weight in /Mods also and install the Mod new. Nothing happens ingame. It's also not working by just editing the original .../Data/Tables.pak from 66 to 166 without the Mod in The Mod folder. After that, I change the 166 back to 66, install the Mod again and it's also not working.
1. Renamed the folder 'Unlimited Weight' to 'UnlimitedWeight' in the Mod folder 2. Chance text 'UnlimitedWeight' into the mod_order.txt found in the mods folder.
Thanks FruppiTV! It worked, I tried launching it without changing the name and it immediately told me that the mod was outdated. So I did what you said to do and everything worked!
How? I freashly installed KCD, Vortex and this - only this mod - with vortex. After starting the game I get the notification that i updated KCD and all mods have been moved to mods_old. Tried to rename the folder back to mods, tried to deleat the space in between unlimited weight. Dunno, not working for me...
Game version: 9.1.6-404-504
Update: NVM - WITHOUT Vortex it is working indeed^^
Oh, hi, yes. But didn't work almost any mods for me first. The thing is, for example the installations of the mods not always tell everything fully, so I had to scratch my head a bit about this 1st and do my own research. ^^
Can't tell for sure, but I think the main problem for me (since now all mods working for me) was the thing, I did not created within the Mods folder a text file to do, write there a mod-order list. Since all mods working for me. The txt file supposed to call "mod_order" then you put to the top of the list the mod you want the game to load first. You MUST write exactly the same name of the mod on your txt file, so exactly how it's called with the mod's own folder name. And can't be space in the folder names. For example: Mod folder name is "TimeHDupdated" or Time_HD_updated" then you exactly write that in your mod list within the txt file. Also, some old mods don't have the right folder structure for their mods. That means, once you download and unzip a mod (with winRAR for example), you must open the mod's main folder and check the right folder structure exist there: there should be ALWAYS a "Data" folder within the mod's main folder. And in that Data folder ALWAYS must be located the pak file of that certain mod. If the Data folder don't exist, you must create and move the pak file there. Sometimes even the manifest file need an update but for example the Unlimited weight mod didn't require for me any further modifications in the manifest file to work. Well, can't really tell any better in English but hope it's helps for you as well! :)
Oh, yes, I install all mods for KCD manually, I don't use any installer since here isn't like 300-400 mods to install like I does for BG3, Skyrim and for a few other games... ^^
If with my method this mod still doesn't work for you, perhaps try to remove other mods and try and test that way too. Sometimes some mods also can conflict with each other.
EDIT: I just redownload this mod and checked the original structure of it. It's all good. You only must make sure: this mod gets/copied into the Mods folder (After unzip) + make sure the main folder's name of this mod don't have any space in it and after you add to the mod order list, what I mentioned above already in more details. ;) Again, the mod folder can't be called "Unlimited Weight" but can be called "UnlimitedWeight" or "Unlimited_Weight" for example and you write exactly this into your mod order list.
2ndEDIT: If you struggle to activate this mod, you can also try to rename the main folder of this mod like this: "zzzzzzzUnlimitedWeight" That means, the mod folder will be the last in your mod order. With this method, if this mod conflict with other mod in your mod list, you have a chance to overwrite the command of that mod(s) with this one, since this mod's command will load last in your game from your mods. BUT make sure you rename and add to the bottom in your mod order list as well to work! ;)
I'm not sure why this isn't working for me. I played back in 2018 and it worked then. Just picked it up again since I saw the new one is coming out soon. I read the comments and I've made sure the mod folder, pak file, and mod_order all show UnlimitedWeight with no spaces. It shows up on Joew's Mod Manager as enabled. I even deleted "instant Herb Picking" because I saw someone in the comments show they also had that mod when it wasn't working and so it may have potentially been conflicting, but that didn't fix it either. I do have unlimited saves mod but I don't see how that could interfere with this mod. Please help me out as managing weight in my inventory is annoying to me. I'm not into survival games that go super realistic. I just want to pretend my guy got a magical bag that lets him carry unlimited things...
Well, I've made some progress. Apparently, any weight changing mod now conflicts with gathering mods. So I simply deleted the gathering mod and changed the (rpg_param.xml) xml with Zip-7. Sadly it still is not working.
Can someone please help me !! No matter how many mods i install, How many youtube videos i follow through , NONE of my mods WORK . IDK why this is happening . Im currently running the cracked 1,2 version of the game and maybe its cause its cracked but everyother game works so why wouldnt this work? Besides all the folders even the steam folders and game location are the same as everyone elses , Ive tried using vortex and it still didnt work . Please if someone knows how to make the mods work help me !
это работает(1.9.6), но нужно переименовать «Unlimited Weight» в «UnlimitedWeight» в папке Mods\UnlimitedWeight и проверить mod_order, manifest change not need
I confirm this works with 1.9.6 though I edited it to set carry capacity at 500. Just make sure there are no spaces in the name of the pakfile. Also, the name of the mod folder (which goes inside your 'mods' folder) should exactly match the name of the mod's pak file and it should match the name of the mod as listed in the manifest file.

Hoppefully someone can help me with that problem.

I appreciate for your comment.
I just bought this game, mods not working and struggled for an hour.

God bless you! :D
