Are you tired of trying to play this game over and over, only to drop it because the combat is too frustrating? Look no further. This mod completely disables automatic camera locking in combat, but keeps manual locking, and even improves it.

In vanilla KCD combat against multiple enemies is extremely frustrating. You have very little control over your camera, it jumps around from target to target seemingly randomly. This mod fixes that.
This mod removes auto locking of the camera in combat. Your camera WILL NOT lock onto opponents without your input.
Manual locking is kept and improved. Now, if you manually lock into an opponent, the camera WILL NOT swap to another opponent without your input.
To get the most out of this mod it is recommended that you get comfortable with manually locking and unlocking during combat.
Clicking the lock button cycles between enemies. The unlock button will return you to complete camera freedom, and you wont be locked in until you use manual locking again.
Installation:
Place the user.cfg file into your "Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance" directory.
(Alternatively, Right-click the game in your steam library > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files)
If you already have a user.cfg, copy the contents of this mod's user.cfg and paste them at the end of the file that's already there.
Some users might have to add “+exec user.cfg” in the steam launch options.
Some users might also need to use the following method (thanks to @Torvich for sharing):
-Move the user.cfg into the KCD root directory.
--Create a 'Mods' Folder in the KCD root directory
---Create a new txt file called 'mod_order.txt", open it in a text program and add a line "RemoveAutoCameraLockInCombat" without the quotation marks, then save
----make a folder inside the mods folder called "RemoveAutoCameraLockInCombat"
-----Copy and paste 'user.cfg' file into that new folder
