One time after one of the Rattery Tourney quests appeared, I got a bunch of -2 sworn enemy appear, and now every time I load any save after that it appears every time. No idea if it's a bug with the mod or the game.
thanks! I had 8 of those "sworn enemy" pop-ups everytime I loaded a save after completing Questions and Answers for some reason... Deleted that line and now it's fixed. By the way, when using this mod I'm getting negative reputation for killing bandits, but the reputation doesn't seem to actually decrease from anywhere. Is there a way to make those disappear as well? (for bandits/cumans/baddies only)?
I just kept playing and they eventually stopped on their own. Though that could have been because it reached the maximum negative reputation. For who or what though I still have no idea. Maybe the tournament fighters?
If possible I'd like it if the mod would also list the person or faction that the reputation change has affected, because when there is multiple changes it's not clear what exactly is being affected.
Yes, all is the keyword. If I cut any part, players would wonder in different scenarios. It's true that nobody gives a damn about bandit rep, but then even hitting allies wouldn't be shown. At best, there might be some stealth/stealing version for KCD2 based on how that would work, ported to KCD1. The problem with that is, that there are already 4 mod versions just because of stealth kill, which might not be confusing to some players, but casual players usually like only 1 version.
So after solving and briefly testing this mod for KCD2, I've made a new version for KCD1 that will not show Melee Hits, which should help to unclutter the screen.
Could the notification text be abbreviated to something like "+/- value" instead of the full "reputation gained/ lost"? "NormFactionQ" for the extensive version, etc, so as to take up less space.
Is it safe to assume (based on the Lost1k conversation last year) that when I see a loss of 0.01 rep and red icon on a successful persuasion, that it is just a reporting error? If I disable the mod, it yields the positive rep icon.
I'm new to the mod and pretty new to the game actually so maybe I just don't understand the reporting system. Perhaps it is one of those "future" changes mentioned in the description? Only 1 report though vs "current and future". Minor conversation with a miller asking him to basically take my word for something.
It's not an error of this mod, everything is correct. It's Warhorse's design choice. And from what I've seen in KCD2, it's Warhorse's bug that's been left in KCD1. Unless you spin it like coersion.
Kudos and Love for this! This was so annoying in Vanilla... at some point, I return to Thalmberg for multiple quest, and anyone there had hated me! Then I realize the nonsense, that you get reputation lose when Stealth Kill someone without any witnesses.

You're losing rep with the bandits. There's a cheat engine table out there that allows you to see all the reps in the game and there's like 100s for all kind of stuff you didn't even expect.
Does this mod display the literal reputation change, or are the messages edited to show what the change *should* be. IN SHORT: will this work with other mods that change reputation gain/loss?
It's static and only displays vanilla levels. And even those levels might be variable and have caps, but there's a character limit on screen making it impossible to tell everything. No point in using it with any reputation altering mods. I mean I guess use the non-Extended version, right? Even though, that still depends on how someone changes the gains and losses.
Hello everyone). Thank you, just a huge thank you for this mod. I could not understand why my reputation was constantly falling in Skalitz - the mod helped. When "stunning" a guard (at one of the Towers), a minus was triggered in the main character's reputation. Although there was no one there, he did not see or comment on the character's actions, he even reacted normally to the "bait" with money (or a thing) ... Oh .. The third playthrough on Hardcore with all the negative skills I tried to pump up to the maximum at the start, how I "burned" ... Steam version (PC) 1.9.6, February 2025 - works perfectly. Once again, thank you very much.
Yeah this really helps to understand the reputation system. Players keep losing rep for crimes that nobody saw, they get frustrated and this exposes what it actually does. From my brief testing of this mod in KCD2, these issues have been solved there.

Mods with changes in visual component ( maybe useful ): [Mod] 'No_Helmet_Vision' [Mod] 'Sectorial Lockpicking' [Mod] 'Faster arrows' [Mod] 'BetterVanillaHUD' ( with change of aiming point color ) [Mod] 'WashingDeluxe' ( there the script for going to the bathhouse is tied to the barrel, that is, with a change of screen ) It seems that this is all visual ).
Bit of a weird bug. Whenever I get into dialogue my screen fills up with a loading screen. I've tested and removed this mod a couple of times just to double check. Could be a compatibility issue with one of my other mods
