Could you make style like old book pages, or papers, etc... Just like books from Skyrim for instance, or something for that. Would be very useful for that mod:
This isn't working as intended. Not sure why it's not working properly, but I will add a screenshot of what it looks like on mine. https://imgur.com/a/n4vqc
EDIT: So I was messing around with my settings for another mod and realized that the reason its so low resolution is because your menu is based on "Texture Quality" settings. I don't understand why it would be based on settings to look decent. If you have the game on its lowest settings the default menu looks fine and crisp, no low resolution image. Just a word of warning to those playing on lower resolutions that this mod is probably not for you.
I think I may know the problem. The original textures probably didn't have mipmaps, whereas I exported with mipmaps out of habit. Ill have to re-upload them without them when I have time, in the meantime if you have photoshop or gimp with the DDS plugin, you can simply open the texture files, dont load mipmaps, then re-save them as DXT5 and select no mipmaps. That should fix the problem.
I've actually gone back to a few Skyrim projects. If you'd like Valikon, I could add hand this mod over to you by giving you permission to edit files if you by chance wanted to do the rest as well? If not I will get around to fixing it eventually.
Done. You've been given editing permissions on the mod so have at it, just upload to the files section. You can also edit the mod description with a changelog to advise of the fix if you'd like. If at amy point you want to use my template to make new menu textures I can send through the PSD files, you'll have to try make sense of them though, my layer conventions are not all that tidy lol
Nice job. I enjoy using your light wood texture for a menu, while the original menu interface is nice... I find this to be much easier on the eyes and easier to find what's important in the menu faster with less distracting details, Only thing I would be wishing for is if texture size / quality was better for more crisp visuals but I'm not sure that is even possible. Thanks & keep up good work!
Just my opinion here, but the default vanilla interface is probably my favorite one ever designed for any game. Warhorse did a fantastic job making a beautiful interface that fits with the entire game and art style so well.. That said, maybe you'll make one good enough to rival it. Good work though, just not for me.
