What players don't get today is that gaming is not about the challenge or the rewards, but the journey and interpretation of the experience, not the fact you complete a task and get "1 up"... this is what separates gamers, and extremely casuals from immersive hardcore\simulation seeking players. This is a very good mod, there is a similar one in RDR2... for realistic navigation. It's very important. of course it's important to remove also the player pin so you read the "map"... and try to orient yourself, anyway... simulation is not fancied by everyone. Some just want simplifications. I will use this mod when I play this game.
Change the folder name and eliminate all spaces so that it reads NoFogOfWar then copy the name of the file and paste it into your mod_order text file. If you don't have a mod_order text file then create one and put the names of all of your mods into it. Note that mods toward the bottom of the list take priority and will overwrite mods above them if there are conflicts.
mod doesn't work for me, playing on the most recent version. other mods i'm using: NLMM, enhanced eyes, less intrusive map icons. i'm imagining the conflict is with LIMI, but i'm more annoyed by the enormous baker sigil covering half of fucking rattay than i am by a fog of war. might be worth including in the description.
edit: i got the mod working by modifying pak.cfg in KingdomComeDeliverance\Data. at the very bottom of the document, i added the path of the mod that wasn't working. the path is going to be KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods\No Fog Of War\Data\zzz_fuxsart_no_fog_of_war.pak.
additionally, i added "No Fog Of War" to a line in KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods\mod_order.txt
Yes it works all you need is the correct file structure. How it should look: KCD/Mods/No Fog Of War/Data/
Make sure the .pak file is named the same as the folder (No Fog Of War) then place it into the Data folder. Put the mod.cfg & mod.manifest into the No Fog Of War folder.
