The best method I've found to using 'p_fly_mode 1' is to first type into the console "p_fly_mode 1" and then "p_fly_mode 0". After typing those type 'wh_actor_JumpHeight = XX' XX being the integer you want to use (default is 1). This will alter your player's jump height. While high in the air from jumping, hit the tilde (~), then press arrow up twice and hit enter to select p_fly_mode 1, and you will now be floating in air.
When you are ready to come down, open the console, press up twice, then hit enter once more.
PS: Make sure you have some sort of godmode turned on before turning off your fly or you will drop down and die a tragic death
Unfortunately there is no way to gradually fly up and down like in minecraft or a Bethesda game's tcl command, but this is better than nothing. OP feel free to pin this to the top for everyone else to see.
None of these bugs are happening to me when I use this mod. However, I should mention my console has never opened (steam version) no matter WTF I try. ANd I HAVE SPENT HOURS SEARCHING AND TRYING SHIT. After installing these changes into WHgame.dll, now I can't change settings in the menu of the game. Nothing happens when I click it. So, I lost rights rather than gained some. June 1 2025. Most mods I install work. I just can't issue console commands because it won't open! If you have any idea why my console doesn't work, plz, let me know :) thx
I did see oddly the share64 being used now, odd as i didn't notice that being the path in logs before. Also, says the date is june 2nd in the log file, when it is clearly the 1st:

Yes that made it work thanks! :D And actually you don't need this mod anymore. Just put -devmode in the properties settings for this game in Steam. So those with 1.9.6. Use the original .dll file. Don't install this.
After I installed your mod it was not possible anymore in the main menu to go into the settings or load a game save or watch the credits. everything except continue, quit, quit and safe was not accessible anymore. Is that normal? After i deinstalled it, everything went back to normal.
False positive. Windows defender does that often with scrips or programs that change files. Even if those files have nothing to do with windows' files. Especially if the files in question are in the documents folder, which a lot of games use to store for configuration files for their games. Probably because its technically a windows folder
When try to I use this, the only option in the first menu that works is "quit". Not even possible to play. It may be something I did wrong, I don't know, but it's happening everytime I use this WHGame.dll
EDIT: managed to get into the game, but the menu is still all bugged out. Can't use "settings", "load", "save" and so on

Yes, it does work. But you also have to enable -devmode
You can use the console to modify the settings, but you'd have to know the commands to do that.
i only did the hex edit
i did a quick test toggling p_fly_mode
i will not offer any further support. only uploaded for convenience of GOG users.

I got 30 mods working now except this one :(
Don't use it and live with some pixelated objects.
It's better than not using the menu for settings and game saving.
do you still have the methods? I need it to make certain voxel global illumination graphic mod work
Cordially.
