There's a model for either the bascinet with klappvisor or the hounskull helmet that has the visor flipped up. It's used during a cutscene for a particular duel for a certain sidequest in Sasau. If you have a way to access the models -- Would it then be possible to replace one of the vanilla helmet models with it?
I'd do it myself but I have no idea how to get to the models.
How were you able to edit the model? Or did you just make the textures on that part of the helm transparent? I'd love to create/edit the 3d models but am unsure on how to go about doing so.
Can you remove the lower neck part of the Grand Bascinets as well? Only the part extending over the neck just below the chin. So that we can have a nice looking full helmet. There are two of them "s1_p1_l3_v017_tx001_diff" and "s1_p1_l3_v018_tx001_diff"
Since the character does the animation when the occluded visor is lowered during combat, this static half-way version it's the best solution before an actual animation of the helmet itself gets implemented, be it by a modder or WH themselves... Thanks for doing this! And here's hope too that you would tackle the arching and hounskull... The best stats, and the better looking, imo...
This is AWESOME! I absolutely HATE how impersonal the helmets makes conversations so I'm constantly taking them off before conversations and then forgetting to put them on after and don't notice until I get jumped by a band of thieves and get my head cracked open. A bleeding head wound makes you damn near blind. Out of curiosity, do you have any plans to do this with any other masks? What are the stats for the Italian Bascinet? Because I feel like the bascinet I have right now has higher stats.
The stats are 21/21/8, it is one of the best helmet in the game. But to be honest i dont really care about stats since end game is so ridiculously easy, my main target when i equip my guy is purely cosmetic.
Ah, yeah, I'm using the Arching Bascinet, which is 23/23/9 I believe. Not much of a difference, but I got lucky and found it in a chest in a random bandit camp outside of Neuhof.
