When using this mod I can't change any of my equiped armor. Everything is grey and I can't even put on other pieces of armor. Has anyone had this problem, and did you find how to solve it?
I know this is an old thread now, but I have the problem. I experimented around and if I take off the equipped shirt (armor if on, too) there is a horrendous mash-up between Henry's head/arms/legs and a female body. I went to the shop and could even get female clothes. Not sure how an apparel replacer managed to become a bad body replacer, but it did. It could be a conflict with another mod that Vortex is not reporting, but I have so few mods anyways, and toggling this off switches back to the correct body.
Fantastic mod. Looking forward to more Templar gear from you, my friend. Maybe a shield bearing the cross? Anyway, I'll be waiting to see what you make next. God be with you, brother.
Dude, who cares? It's a game! That's single player! I personally love to have Templar gear! To the mod maker - this is FANTASTIC! Thank you! To the hater - find something better to involve your life with that getting all rallied up on a texture mode.
Get the f*#@ out sniper pec! ArchDornan is totally right, KCD is in itslelf a very historically accurate game, it is weird to see Henry dressed as a Templar since he is not part of that religious order, which takes place over a 100 years prior!
Whether there were Templars or not is irrelevant. This is just an armor recolor for a game. Cut out the f*#@ing nerd rage. Seeing as the horse armor is found on a desiccated horse corpse on a cliff in a giant bird nest that kind of throws the whole realism claim out the window.
Needless to say this mod is great. Yes the game is based on realism but truth of the matter is there were Templar remnants still around during this era, most of the Templar order did survive the trials held by France and historians believe that they went underground and carried on their work in the shadows. Now yes this is near 90 years after the trials but who's to say we cant make up our own story about how we came across the item ? Maybe it was passed down, maybe it was found in a hidden chest deep within Bohemia. If you like the mod then use it, don't listen to the f*#@ heads who try to make others feel bad because they think its unrealistic to use it. It's a single-player game, download mods that have unicorns and flying pigs no one cares. It's your game have a blast with it.
If someone wants this to work (not as author intented though) follow these steps:
1: Download "4k waffenrock" and put the .pak file in the data folder. Make sure it has zzz_4kwaffenrock.pak as its name. 2: Download this mod and place it in your mods folder, no zzz in front of the file name.
Somehow this changed the textures of the plain long waffenrock but didn't change the armortype of the waffenrock. You'll get the colors but not the exact look.

Firstly this is not a templar armor... It looks a bit like Order of Christ armor, but it's still not it. Secondly there were no templars in XV century!
No, there were many underground remnants floating around generations after the disbandment in the early 1300's. so it is well within possibility that the ideals could be portrayed in kingdom comes universe with historical accuracy. Their iconic armour however is a more debatable matter.

Also do you mean putting the 4k waffenrock into the Templar Gear/data folder?
It looks fantastic, would love to see it fixed!
