It's actually quite easy to tweak it, but tricky to find the balance. You only need to modify, within random_event.xml, these two parameters per row to your liking: "base_run_chance" and "cooldown".
You can edit directly from my mod file, or from KCD v.1.7.2 original values (*Wherever you installed the game\Kingdom Come Deliverance\Data\Tables.pak\Libs\Tables\), in case you want to have a reference. Cheers!
Here is a PTF version which merges in some tweaked values from KCDTweaks; specifically it keeps the Subtle Random Encounters - encounter probability but some of the cooldowns were set to 1/3rd the default value... and others were being set to 56hrs... maybe there was a reason for the 56hrs, but I merged KCDTweak's 2 hour cooldown into those rows as well as a value of 11 for the map_disappear_time where this mod had values of 0 to 6 for it

Sadly I couldn't find any list online that explains which event ID is which, also I'm not 100% sure how the base_run_chance works (1 means it will 100% trigger when the cooldown is up?), so what I did was solely massively lower the cooldown for most events while leaving the base run chance as is, hoping that by doing so I rapidly increase how often already common events happen, but don't suddenly have events supposed to only trigger every 10 irl hours happen every few minutes.
I'll see whether I broke everything and what effect this has xD #AlwaysMakeBackups
After installing this mod none of my save files would load. Removed the mod, and it works fine. I also have like a dozen other mods installed so perhaps it conflicted with the one that makes ambushes not be scaled to Henry's warfare lvl. Ill play around with them and see how it goes.
EDIT: I removed the other mod and tried to run with this one but it still failed to loa my saves. Tried again without this mod and it works.
Tested the mod after the update, works perfectly it seems. Got 2 random encounters after eachother just like it would in vanilla. Stopped playing the game after a while, went back in a week ago because of he hardcore mode and wondered why the world was so empty. That was because of the patch it seems :l. No its like normal again:) thanks !!!
Thanks for confirming it's working as it should now! I did a few tests for other purposes and I had the feeling that the effect was lower than I had previously tweaked... Some previous patches messed around the random encounters (bugs reported in KCD forum), but not this time haha Cheers, glad you enjoy it :)

It's now fixed with Subtle Random Encounters v.1.31. You don't need to restart your playthrough, just update the mod to its latest version.
