    IF you get more than 15 npc in group to group battle with XXXXXL v2 (and more than 20 in V3)

    PLEASE report it.

    I did much testing, and didn't get more than 20 no matter what I did put in the file.
    if it was an issue in my game and you get actually 30/40 npc battle, then please report it. (and don't worry I won't remove those version I'll just add other one with less npc).

    if i use Random Encounter XXXXXL do i need to use also Random Encounter XXXL?

      no they can be added separately, XXXXXL add more npc to each encounter, while XXXL add 100% chance of an encounter and 4 hours cooldown.

      so if you prefer the current chance of encounter and just want more npc each encounter use XXXXXL, if you prefer to have the same amount of npc fighting but want 100% chance of them appearing choose XXXL

      if you want to have the two then take the two, but bohemia will be a real warzone :) but to answer you question you don't need to use the two for them to work you can only install the one you want.

    hi when i get the encounters with big battles, so far only bandits and cumans, the game crashes when whey start fighting. happens randomly

      its probably a problem with running out of memory.

      i have a gtx 970 4gb vram
      24g ram
      i5-6500

      that probably the reason why even big battle in the game happen in wave, is probably because the game with current minimum config acceptance can't handle too much.

      now i know that this game is processor intensive to even if you have much ram if your processor is not good you will not be able to use this mod properly.

      here the work around:

      1go in folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods\Random Encounter XXXXXL\Data
      2open the archive with winrar
      3open libs/luaxml
      4open with notepad++ ("ambushNPCConfigurations.xml")
      5find the line:
      <cfg align="soldiers" location="rat">
      <spawnGroups>
      <grp class="soldiers_rat" minCnt="2" maxCnt="30" />

      6.edit the maxCnt="30" to maxCnt="8" or more if you are adventurous
      7.save and close the notepad++ windows, in winrar windows go back and save when asked.
      8.close winrar(after saving) and open it again and open ambushNPCConfiguations.xml again, check that the edit have been saved(cause sometime people didn't save properly) if it have been saved then you are good and can launch the game, if not (or you are not able to save) then extract the winrar file with 7zip and after editing with notepad++ copy the edited file back to 7zip folder(previous rar one) and save. (its more easy to save with 7zip but you will need to extract the file to open it with notepad++ and replace the file in 7zip after editing.

      hope it help you. (i did one battle in the game with 30 guys maximum and that seem to f*** up some people, i had no problem personnally.
      if the problem persist is can be fore 2 reason.)
      1. is because you can't have battle bigger than 10 people, and then its safe to delete XXXXXL one, and keep only XXXL
      2. is because you use another mod conflicting with this mod which I doubt. (or maybe you have an outdated mod that edit item/stat or the npc themselves, who are in those battle.

      my mod is doing an simple thing (xxxxxl one) is editing the max number of people in battles, nothing less nothing more. so or the problem is elsewhere, or your machine can't handle more people in one non-scripted battle. which its maybe the case, but if you say it only happen for some battle it is maybe because of some battle with max number i set to more than 8, so the safe thing would be to change all the max number of the two file to no more than 8(cause some battle have 12 maxcount.)

      or just delete XXXXXL and try play without it, if there is no more crash then change maxcounter to 8 maximum, less than 8 is well useless, cause 8 is for some battle the default max.

    I absolutely love your mods. But, the mod(namedNPC) does not seem to compatible with the Random Encounter Tezke revival - FINALE. So i change to XXXXXL and it worked.

      indeed, because it changes the localization file, to be honest I might be able to make it PTF but I don't really want to put the time in it to be honest.
      namedNPC could be ptf too but he didn't.

    Is it normal that some of the deserters are only in underwear without armor? i just had one only carrying a bow

      humm no, they have an inventory, maybe it conflicts with another mod who add/modify the soul_inventory file.

    i just download ur mods, xxxxxl v1 normal and xxxl v3 8 hrs cooldown, i played hardcore mode and since instaled ur mode, i alredy play around 5 days ingame (without time skip), but i still didnt see any large group vs group battle, even i didnt got stop by any bandit on the road.... is there any something wrong ???

    beside ur mods, i install other mods like more bandit camp and roads are dangerous REDUX..... is there any incompatible with this two mods that make any conflict with ur mods ????

    if u had any solution pls reply, thankss....

      road are dangerous redux is incompatible and outdated.
      xxxl v3 8 hours already does what road are dangerous does.
      not sure about more bandit camp, I would suggest you don't play with more bandit camp, you will have more than enough bandit to fight with this mod, you won't be lacking that trust me.

      edit: I checked the files of more bandit camp, I believe it should be compatible with this mod, your issue probably come from the road are dangerous one, more bandit camp is standalone and don't modify base file game (unlike my mod)
      so you should be safe using both xxxl v3 8h, xxxxxl and more bandit camp.

      I would suggest not to remove more bandit camp! if it spawned custom bandit this mod add, the save might be corrupted.
      only remove road are dangerous.

      good game.
      (ps: no need to restart a game, just remove road are dangerous and try playing with more bandit camp, if you still don't see bandit encounter (you should find them straight away) then try removing more bandit camp, if random encounter still don't spawn give me a complete list of your mods.)

    It just broke my games text, everything is weird now, im assuming its your localisation folder, was i not suppose to add that folder to my KCD directory?

      I'm not a dog my dude, and I won't remove that mod even if it was broken so people who might wish to fix it, will be able to.
      you always can remove the mod (which should be in your mods folder in the main game directory, hopefully you didn't change the game file with the one of this mod, that wouldn't be my fault as there is a lot of tutorial and explanation how to install mod in this game.)

      but in the case you did so, I would suggest a reinstallation.
      also nothing show that the mod doesn't work anymore it should still work with the recent updates who didn't change what I did,
      tzeke file is for english localization and if you want to add other languages, you can always do that yourself, I'm not working for you.

      your issue could also be because you already use another mods that change the file "localization.xml" I explained the issue in "compatibility" section of the description. but here again you would have to remove Tzeke.

    Please explain the difference of Random Encounter Tezke revival - FINALE versus the one with 1 vs all? I dont get the explanation and what does 1 vs all mod do in the game? thanks

      its for a simple reason.
      not all people want the same thing, and I love to give option.
      and making all this into 1 file with all option inside one file, would make it even more confusing.

      in short,
      either you use one of those
      -XXL or XXXL

      with (or without if you prefer) one of those

      -tzeke revival
      -XXXXXL (choose one of all the option)

      everything about what each does is written. now if there something you don't understand be explicit about what exactly.

      it should, you can always try it and remove it if it doesn't. it doesn't corrupt saves.

      hey , i got few other questions, can you use both xxl no cooldown and tezeke final together? or will it conflict? and does tzeke final only take affect if you fast travel or will it occur/take effect also when manual travleing by foot/horse?  I got latest game verision 1.9.6

    the only thing happening is that i see a battle and its 10cumans going on me and no one else on my side. what the fuck. i installed xxxxxl v1 normal

      use the 1vsall version, it make it so sometime you fall on lone enemy. this mod originally I made for myself to get more fight.
      I felt like fight were way to hard to get to, even tho in the game it's so easy to flee combat, I saw no reason why not to make attack a little more frequent and also with more people fighting.

      I think there is a limit tho, of around 10-12 people in a battle. an engine limit I didn't find how to override.
      in game you pretty much have 3 type of combat encounter, you against 1-3 enemies, you against a group, and a group against a group.
      (and group vs group can be between two different type of bandit/cuman or one type of bandit and closest city guards.)

      so 1vsall make it possible to be you against one bandit, but keep all the setting for group to group combat etc.
