Auto Thirdperson Riding
for KCD 1.9.4
This mod switches automatically to Third Person View when mounting a horse and switches back to First Person View when dismounting.
To get an impression have a look at the video at the bottom of this page.
This should give a good playable mix between third and firstperson gaming.
I think thirdperson view is much more immersive for riding through the nature and exploring the landscape.
Additionally you have some hotkeys for instantly toggling hud, crosshair or third person view on and off.
Hotkeys
Numpad * Toggle HUD

Installation
1) Copy mod to KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods
2) Goto folder KingdomComeDeliverance
- if there doesn't exist a file user.cfg: copy downloaded user.cfg to that folder
- if there already exists a file user.cfg: append all lines of downloaded user.cfg to this file
3) add to startup options:
+exec user.cfg -devmode

1) Right click Kingdom Come in Steam library -> properties -> general -> set launch options

GOG:
1) Right click Kingdom Come Icon on desktop.
2) In the "target" field add +exec user.cfg -devmode
3) Dependent on the game location the target field should now look now like this:
"C:\GOG Games\Kingdom Come Deliverance\bin\Win64\KingdomCome.exe" +exec user.cfg -devmode
4) click ok
Controller
I dont have any controller so I can't test controller support.
This is from user feedback:
Xbox 360 pad
if you don't get back automatically to First Person View after dismount:
change in user.cfg : bind x = ... to bind xi_y = ...
For looking around use Xpadder or Rewasd to emulate mouse look. For this case Rewasd seems to work much smoother than Xpadder.
