TO THE AUTHOR: you should probably be more pacific as to a walk through on how to install the mod properly. there is nothing in the description on how to install the mod properly.
In case anyone's playing this on 1.9.6, it does work and I have many mods for bows too, though an oddity is that it will make your arrows immune to gravity as well so they will fly straight forever regardless of how much you charge the bow and arrow trails are gone, at least for your arrows, but it also does create fire which is cool. EDIT: after some more play, I notice you do not emit any light even with a flame arrow fully charged but it will create light once you fire though only once per second for one second so it makes like a beaded necklace pattern but when you hit something it does create a light that lasts seemingly until you despawn the arrow, also, if you fire the bow at minimum charge, since it flies straight it will start to pick up speed quickly though I do not know if that means it will do more damage or not and I do not know if these arrows actually do any DOT or not
Waste of modding capability. Try to do something more useful maybe.. bring back the beta forest or make that helmets are not visible during dialogues or make less fading in from vegetation/objects/textures. Or or or, but not this please. :D
Look, it gets extremely useful for people who want to play assassin or thief. Or heck in the cave as an archer. When you hold a bow in the darkness, you cannot hold a torch in your left hand, you can't even see.
... and who doesn't want to use this fantasy crap in an oh so realistic medieval game? They can now use fire arrows. To each his own. Point blank period.
Sweet Jesus! I drew, I aim, I released, and I shot a huge piece of wood floating on the river! Guess what, I unleashed a great force that pushed the exact wood which I thought might weight 3 times of me off the water and flew away!!! Dxxx I feel like playing as a Jedi or Sith from the old republic!!! Naughty!!
File path for extraction: Steam/steamapps/common/ KingdomComeDeliverance/ mods
Inside the mods folder you will see the Data folder ya just extracted among the rest of the mods but you will not see a folder tht has the name of this mod, you have to create one. Inside tht same mods folder, you now need to make a new folder and name it to: Lighting Fire Arrow now you need to drag the Data folder ya extracted into your newly created Lighting Fire Arrow folder.
2. Then Copy the ( Lighting Fire arrow.PAK file that is inside the Data folder ) and paste it into the _fastload folder
if you could do something like only adding the flame effect to onlyone arrow type, that would be aweosme! i like the idea, but id like to be able to switch back to normal arrows too ya know what i mean
wow I came to this comment section to complain about the ugly texture of the arrows assuming they were a single type and boy am I now glad I didn't waste my time installing this
Any idea what could be causing that literally everything is on fire with your mod? Even when I attack with axe vs s/s guard, the points where he gets hit burn the same way as a fire arrow would.
Not for me as fire arrows were never a thing IRL. But holy s#*!, that's fantastic! This is probably the first mod made with the new tools, isn't it? Looks great, well done!

1. Extract the Data folder to the mods folder.
