- You have compiled all of your castles into one consolidated mod rather than making them separate and optional/modular - the way you have chosen to do it can cause compatibility issues (like with the Henry's Castle at Pribyslavitz mod). Have you ever even heard of the mod_order.txt file? I think not.
- You insist on your main mod file being a pak file which over-rides a main game pak file (something that is not only never done, but is not done at all and with good reason).
- Your mod doesn't have a mod manifest like every other KCD mod I have encountered.
- You NEVER update your main description page with things like installation instructions or compatibility issues.
I appreciate that you have spent a lot of time and effort on the particulars of this mod but I have wasted a lot of time trying to get your mod working but to no avail! Buck your bloody ideas up Son!
Agreed! I love the content of this mod and consider it a must-have, but sadly it has some serious issues I think exactly due to the reason you list. Most of the reported bugs are by me and the creator has done nothing to resolve them. I really think they could be fixed if this mod was made properly to begin with. I have to constantly switch back and forth between the modded rataje files and the original at different points in the game otherwise annoying and even game-breaking issues occur. FIX YOUR MOD!!!
Hello there.Obviously you dont know how an engine editor works.Level file is in encryption state.Pryb level and mine are two diff exported levels and cannot work together.Thats the reason all castles are on one file.Even if i released a seperated file for each castle you cannot make a selection of your best.You can try to make them compatible everything is at your disposal. Installation instructions cant get any clearer.Manifest wouldnt offer much.If any.This is not a mod to add a "shield or a sword'.
I respectfully must reply here. While I admittedly have little modding experience with KCD I find it hard to believe that you couldn't fix many of the game-breaking issues I have encountered (check your bugs tab for more details). I have modding experience with other games and I have studied how it works with others and it makes no sense how you could not remedy the glitches I have reported. I applaud the amazing work you have done here but it is immensely undermined with the immersion-breaking necessity of having to switch back-and-forth between rataje/level files just to keep the game working at different points. I simply ask that you address the bugs that your mod unfortunately causes to make it more flawless.
i adressed most of the issues.But i cant fully load the level on the editor.I spend dosens of hours on troubleshooting.i am on a stalemate at this point.The thing is i took some bad decisions on the process.The file is encrypted thats the biggest problem.
I tried this mod, and none of the castles showed up for me. it is at the end of my load order, and I've looked up where the locations are, and nothing was there.
Hello, the castles you made look realy great!!!! can't we get these castles in the Architect mod so we can build them were ever we like?????? and how did you greate them???? i would love to design and greate my own castle in KCD.
Hello sorry for the late reply.I made them through the engine editor.You cant make something like this with the architect mod.Nor you can move them around....Each castle has a tone of objects.....
I can't find either of your two new castles unless the one northwest of Uzhitz is actually the one you added in your previous version in which case I just can't find the new one west of Vranik anywhere. I scoured the woods and can't find any sign of a castle or clearing where one would even be located.
Okay, I found it and I think I just took the direction "west of Vranik" a little too literally. For clarification, it is actually along the road going southwest of Vranik just past the bend where it loops back toward Rattay. So it is quite a ways southwest of Vranik where I would argue it is more accurate to say it is VERY far west of Rattay than anywhere truly west of Vranik.
Hi! I see you are doing amazing work. I also noticed that in your newest update you added a castle near vranik. There were trees before that, and you replaced them with your cool castle. My point is if you can remove trees can you remove buildings as well. If you can, could you remove the broken and burnt buildings in Skalitz and change it back to the original state before the attack and add inside to the castle too. It would be really nice. :) I appreciate your work, keep doing what you are doing.
Thnx a lot.The thing is......its almost impossible....Talmberg,skalitz and prib have many different universes that run in parallel inside the editor.Actually is impossible for me to make something that special.It can be done mostly through code and this will create issues on its own.Thats why i havent place a castle or a keep on prib.It will be a mediocre try at best.
