can anyone else confirm if the mod itself disables achievements, or the -devmode launch parameter does that? IIRC, KCD1 didn't disable any achievements when I played modded.
...oh, forgot the important half! xD I can confirm that the game DOES NOT in fact disable achievements when playing modded or by adding -devmode. I've been playing with that start paramter for hourse and have unlocked several Steam achievements since then. :)
No one has made a mod that makes it so lockpicking is REALLY hard even with max lvl? I want to struggle and very hard chests should be near impossible. Robbing Kuttenberg and stores ruins the game and there needs to be a way to balance my temptation of robbing everything when my lockpick breaking will be 3x loud and tolerance threshhold be as bad as the the first very easy lock you try to open. I want to go through 20 lockpicks just to open a very hard. What is the point of getting 100k worth of stolen goods if you can't sell it anyway. We need to be part of the economy instead of stealing our way up. No body actually buys armor and weapons anymore. They just loot it or steal it. Very hard locks is actually the most important thing right now tbh. More than anything else. and make stolen good mark last for weeks. So its more incentive to just buy the product instead of stealing it, going out to quest, and then coming back clean.
So...as probably everyone else I had my fair share of headache with the lockpicking. But I figured it is all part of progressing in the games skills, right?
Your mod uses the term "fix". Can you please explain that. I am playing with mouse + keyboard on pc. If there is an actual bug that made the lockpicking harder than it should be, I'd be very much interested in fixing that, sure. But I don't wanna make it easier just because it's a challenge.
The sensitivity coefficient is lowered by ~ 3x during lockpicking compared to normal mouse speed for some reason, in my opinion this doesn't make that much harder, but just way more annoying. It wasn't like this in KCD 1. This mod fixes that issue.
