hey, love the mod, I use alt version with hood, can't imagine going back to default ugly gambeson lol here's a thought though, could you add flower wreath to his wedding outfit only? I don't want him to run around with the wreath all the time but for the wedding...
The zip for "CaponAltArmorNobleHelmet" v1.1 doesn't contain the top level mod folder (capon_alt_armor_noble) any more, just the Data folder and mod.manifest. I was updating so it was an easy fix to just paste and override into my existing capon_alt_armor_noble folder but new downloads won't work for people.
Hi, thank you for the mod, especially the wreath <3 But I have a question if is there a way to replace the default outfit with the combat one (cuirass and gambeson with vertical lines) and if its possible without the gloves? I just love his other yellow gambeson but we rarely see it :c
Sure, you can replace it easily. Iirc his combat gambeson and cuirass is all one piece, but I need to double check. If you're fine with that I could make this version. Do you want the wreath on by default too?
It's been updated, look for CaponAltCombat in the files. It's the version with the cuirass, unfortunately it's not separate from his gambeson without modifying the model itself. Let me know if there's issues with the mod.
Thank you, I am trying to make changes to another mod that changes the armor of some of the characters (Realistic Faction Overhaul). I am now running into the problem that the changes I make are not effecting the game. I am using 7 Zip to open the files but I think I missing something when saving the changes.
Sorry for late reply, but using winrar or 7zip to update/create paks is tricky unless you adjust settings around. I use the KCD2 PAK builder or the Auto-packer if you're modding frequently. Good luck with your changes! The KCD2 modding discord has more resources too.
Thanks, I really disliked Hans' KCD1 pourpoint import. I don't think they did a good job updating the model for KCD2 as it made Hans look he was wearing a corset underneath.
no problem! i just updated so make sure it's the newest version. there's no more double hoods, but it still has slight clipping through the shoulders. I can't fix this unless i adjust the armor itself unfortunately
Hey, just wanted to thank you for the mod! Thanks to you and your mod I was able to understand how the clothing swap is done <3 Was so happy to be able to put Hans in the red thigh high riding boots. And the wedding pourpoint is so cute on him!
I have been having some trouble getting this mod to work with my mod list I tried putting it at the top of my load order on vortex. This hasn't worked so I am not sure what mods could be causing conflict. The main suspects I have are the Low Res Texture Mod, Radzig Skalitz Horse and Armor Mod, House of Kobyala Arms mod, and the Refined Garments Mod. There is also a reskin mod for pebbles in there as well.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I have the CaponAltArmorV2 installed and at the Finger of God Quest during the Battle segment. Hans is still in his default Armor.
This is my first mod so I might not be able to help you much, but I double-checked that quest and it's working fine on my end. I don't think any of those mods should cause any issues unless they also touch character_preset and override this mod. I've used refined garments fine, personally. Double-check that only this mod works and is installed correctly since it's not showing up for you - I use a For Victory save or Finger of God save to test that he changes armor.
I have tried reinstalling the mod after the new update and yet its still not working, I have tried running the mod on its own and its still not working I am not sure what going on
So the new update with the renamed files did not fix vortex for you? You might have to send some pictures on how it looks installed so I could understand the issue better.
I found the solution, it was the House of Kobyala Mod, it's load order was affecting your mods once I put it above your mods your mods are working now.
