I was looking to change the bet amounts but don’t have any experience with modding. Using your mod as a template I was able to change the bet amounts to my exact preferences. Endorsed!
The mod is great. Very balanced imo. One should not have to win at dice 20x to buy breakfast.
Any chance on a similar mod for fights and shooting contests? I recall in KCD1 the parameters for these were not in the same place and it was a pain to find them.
Took me a while to findout the bandits/enemies not attacking me bug. Since this is the least expected mod to have this type of bug but im glad i took the time and when i came here to update, there's already an update regarding this, goodjob author
In the last update they changed the file this mod uses and before this update for some reason this file was bugged thus I couldn't make it in PTF format. But now with the latest Patch they fixed the file so I was finally able to make this mod in PTF format which makes this mod now pretty much future proof for any upcoming patches.
I'm sorry for the inconveniences, glad you were able to figure it out👍
This mod is bugged. No matter how much I provoke the bandits or Cumans, they won't attack Henry. They just keep drawing and sheathing their swords repeatedly. I've uninstalled each mod one by one to verify where the issue comes from before posting this.
Ok try new version now. It should work since I changed the mod to PTF format, that means nothing in that file gets touched except the dice bet amount. make sure you delete the old version don't just drag and drop the new file.
Thank you very much, I agree dice games are too easy once you get some really OP dice. I aim to make a more balanced/fair dice game where I will bring all my dice mods together making a dice overhaul mod. But it will take some time, first I am waiting for tomorrows patch for more modding support (hopefully).
hi, thanks for this mod, i wonder is the npcs have money that much? i mean that bet option always shown or depends on their money? i just need to try it right
Im pretty certain it should work as long as you are not pickpocketing their money lol. Yea please do try the higher tier games like emperor tier and let me know if everything worked out. Thank you.
yeah, so far it work like that raise the bet only, not affect to how much coin they have, i test with 10 bet dice roll two times and they doesnt have any coin after lost 20, and i changed the bet to 50, they have 100 then, so like that.. dont know for higher bet.
i have an idea, some player like farmer or poor guy haha they only play begger or low playable, its only 1500 for score, its like when we got lucky only one turn or twice and won or lose.. if you know or interest maybe its good for raises the score for lower bet too
first of all thank you for testing it a bit, its like I thought it would be, It should work fine with all tiers as long as you don't picketpocket them lol. (I remember in kcd 1 if you pickpocketed the player he wouldnt be able to play you, havent tested in kcd 2 but I assume it will be the same)
second thing: oh trust me I wanted to raise the score you need to win games as well but I wasn't able to so far, I think I know which file to edit but couldn't get it to work yet. (I will keep trying from time to time but no promises)
Good idea, but consider raising the amount of money some of the dice-playing NPCs have. For example, I always play Emperors (300) with Chernik in Bylany, but with this mod, he can only play modded Soldiers (400) at max because he doesn't have thousands of groschen on his person. I'd like to be able to have a truly high-stakes game, 3000 groschen on the line!
Im working on a fix right now so far the only thing that works is when i change beggar to a very high amount like 3k or 5k then all of a sudden most of the other option pop up as well. so weird lol. I need to find a better fix tho having beggar as the highest tier would be dumb
