You might need to enable devmode for the mod to work. How to enable developer mode: 1. Steam: go to Library > right-click your game > Properties... > General > Launch Options > add "-devmode" without " ". 2. GOG/yarr: create a shortcut to the game anywhere > right-click > Properties > Target > add a space and "-devmode" without " ". It should look like: "...\Kingdom Come Deliverance II\Bin\Win64MasterMasterSteamPGO\KingdomCome.exe" -devmode
And to be certain, after installing and running the game, you can check your kcd.log file in the game's root folder. Search for 'responsive_targeting'. If it says it loaded, you're good.
Thanks for the mod. I found out this mod has 1 problem, it's very responsive in targeting but messes up direction attack. Sometimes it messes up my combo or Masterstroke. Can you adjust the direction of the attack?
Is there a way to prevent the camera from moving when changing directions while locked on? I've noticed that no matter how I adjust it, the camera moves along with the direction change, making it easy to lose the lock. I've tried tweaking many settings, but nothing seems to work.
Heya! This mod is really essential imo, but I am still having trouble sometimes with auto locking into another enemy when it shouldnt >< Would it be possible to create a version that does not switch targets at all once locked so that I have to manually do it by holding RB to unlock?
This, so much this. As someone who has fought and taught longsword since 1999, footwork is key, and with multiple opponents you HAVE to be able to switch and move at will. Target lock is the worst part about this wonderful game!
Sure, it's possible. And to be certain, after installing and running the game, you can check your kcd.log file in the game's root folder. Search for 'responsive_targeting'. If it says it loaded, you're good. If not, double-check your folder setup. Remember to add -devmode to the launch options in Vortex when running the game from Vortex to enable devmode.
Just try it yourself. The mod only changes some config parameters related to the sensitivity of the target lock mechanism, so I don't think it will cause any serious errors. And if you don't want to use it anymore, you can just uninstall the mod by deleting the folder you copied into Mods, and the game will return to its original state. Because everyone uses different mods, conflicts can happen.
As u see on my earlier Comment, I now been using this mod for some hours. No Bugs, if your used to the sticky target then it fells different having allot more dynamic freedom in fights. Besides that no Problems so far.
