Its weaker, how to put this....the button is not as hard as before when you're out of stamina. The time until you can press the trigger again is shorter, so its weaker. But the impact on the trigger button itself has a slightly deeper impact but since the "release" is shorter and smoother it feels better.
Also nice side effect; i dont know about your Dualsense, but all 4 i got so far, for certain games, in KCD2 too, the trigger button or the controller itself is making these strange noises when the trigger is fully "triggered" :D. Here it happens when you are completely out of stamina and the trigger button itself wants to release to its usual state. For many other games this is the same case. Because laziness? i dunno, but they often use the max values (or here; the time between you cannot press the trigger anymore and have to wait until it releases is too fast, and the release itself is too short, it should happen faster), so these things are bound to happen.
This is also gone now, since the End Strength is reducded and the End Position has been raised.
I'll try and test if it works. Vanilla L1 beeing L2 then and R1 beeing R2. You need only these 2 changed or every action with those buttons? Because the latter would be easier for me to change.
yes, i just need to swap r2->r1, l2->l1 for combat, you can also turn off the photo mode, if possible! and thank you very much in advance, I think this mod will be in great demand, it is very convenient
I have this issue with controller when your stamina stops regenerating randomly during combat. I suspect adaptive triggers are to blame - seems like R2 gets stuck or something, cause after i press it again it gets back to normal. Anyone else experienced this?
Nope. been plaing with my mod since its released, thats like 20 hours. Do you mean vanilla or with this moid enabled? Cos vanilla triggers could bug out sometimes.
Yeah, should have clarified - that's vanilla behavior, no fault of your mod for sure. I feel like your mod even makes this issue slightly less apparent. Thank you for your work! Hope devs fix it soon
User config is the most likely method, I tried several configurations from the previous game with different results. It's amazing that they didn't put the option to enable or disable it in the settings.

Heres an example:
<action name="use_horse" onPress="1" onRelease="1" onHold="1" holdTriggerDelay="0.25" holdRepeatDelay="-1" keyboard="_keybinds_ref_" xboxpad="xi_y" pspad="pad_triangle" />
