    Hey, first of thanks for this great mod!

    I'd love to only have the master strike timing harder, but not the regular perfect block. When I look at your file, it edits 2 different values. Am I guessing right, that when I delete the line with "MaxPerfectBlockSlotModifier" and only keep "MaxSpecialPerfectBlockSlotModifier", that should do what I want?

    Hey, i'm not sure if i can tell a difference in the time windows.
    I've tried editing both the rpg_param_key="MaxPerfectBlockSlotModifier" and rpg_param_key="MaxSpecialPerfectBlockSlotModifier" values (in both rpg_param and the override files) to some extremes (eg. 0.1 vs 5) but i can't really see any difference. I've tested this against a low tier enemy with slow attacks to try and spot the difference, but to no avail.

    I've also noticed that the perfect block "fails" if you hit block at the very end of the enemy's attack (which seems counterintuitive), though this seems to be unrelated to this mod. Not sure.

      I am using this mod also and all I can tell you is I hit the MS every time pretty comfortably. Maybe there is some sort of hard limit on the value for MS and Parry. If this mod isn't helping you at all to hit MS easily then Idk what to tell you man, Im sorry.

      I'm trying to say that i want to achive the opposite effect (i.e. reduce the time window). But editing the values doesn't result in any difference. I've tried with another mod, but with no results either: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/276?tab=description
      The mod is installed correctly (i've tested this by adding other lines into the xml files and verify those changes take effect).

      So i'm either missing something entirely or we're all having a placebo effect and the actual time window is tied to the enemy animation lol.

      my bad i didn't get what you meant to say, another explanation would be that there is some sort of hard cap on the min and max value, another reason could be that the devs changed it compared to kcd1 this mod used to work really well for kcd. (ngl it would be kinda crazy tho if over 10k people have placebo while using this mod lol) tomorrow i will search all files again and see if i can find any other entries for the MS maybe i can even change it to the way it was before in kcd1. ty for the feedback

      ty and appreciate the kind words, I have quickly looked into some other files and found this "combat_action_sync_perfect_block_hit.xml"
      its located in "Data\Tables.pak\Libs\Tables\combat\"
      Ima share this here in case you or anyone else wants to take a gender

      Same here, trying to change those values and don't see any difference. Even tried 0. The idea was to make MS and PB as hard as possible.

    Impressive that you already managed to find these values within so little time of the game's release. 
    Was hoping to find someone that can find these because they are similar to the knockout mechanic which requires really quick reflexes. 
    Would it be possible to ask you to consider looking into making a similar mod for knockout speed required as well? Please :)

      I usually never do knockouts and after reading your comment I tried it in game, imo its really not that hard you just sneak behind your target and spam F key.

      to answer your question should I ever stumble upon the right values, sure I can upload such mod.

    I actually think the combat's windows are far too lenient. If it's possible, I would love a mod that does the opposite and shortens the window! Only if you want to, of course. Thank you!

      you are not the first one to say that I will upload a version that shortens the window or i will make it a separate mod idk yet. expect it much later tho im about to falling asleep

    Sorry I may be kinda slow but when you say main dir. of the game, do you mean in the main folder? or like create the mod folder in the bin or data folder?

    Does it effect the enemies as well?
    I mean will they perform parry and MS more often? Its really annoying when they parry every strike I hit.

      no this does not make NPC's use MS more often

    I hope this helps or maybe you can fix it. I have 2 savegames and everything works without any problems on the 1st one. With the second save everything worked until I unlocked the masterstrike, since then the mod hasn't worked anymore. An older save doesn't solve the problem either. I also deleted all other mods and tried everything. But I can't get it fixed anymore. But love u its a great mod <3

      I tried it again with the first version from 2 days ago. And with it everything works again after a bit of playing. With the current version the mod doesn't work in save 2. I don't know why that is, but it's working again. lol
