INFO ABOUT A FUTURE OF ALL MY MODS. (THIS IS COPY/PASTED TO ALL MY MODS POSTS.)
I'm taking an indefinite break from active modding. I will continue maintaining my mods, but I won’t release new ones, add new features, or respond to requests.
Not really a problem just thought I should mention it. Unique daggers like the 'Dagger of Astarte' and 'Brunswick's dagger' still have weight. Would be a bit funny if you left it like that, but thought you should know :3
Needs an Update for 1.2.(2). The weight reduction is still working, but Items were changed in 1.2 and this mod reverts these updates, like food spoil time, some namings etc. I have no idea about KCD2 modding, but if the PTF could only patch the actual weight and not all item values, this would be way nicer for future update compatibility.
此mod在1.2版本更新后会导致无法和理发师对话,我使用deepseek翻译这段话,希望没有出错。This mod causes an inability to converse with the barber after the 1.2 version update. I used deepseek to translate this message, so I hope there are no errors.
Tested it, and it's not caused by my mod. It's caused by mods that alter keybindSuperactions.xml and defaultProfile.xml, so any mod that changes controls, keybinds, or adds its own keys is the culprit (e.g., quick save/unlimited save).
Before reporting a mod as broken, please test it properly, as false reports discourage others from downloading it. Back up all your mods, delete them, and reinstall them one by one until the bug appears. Then, delete them again and test only the latest mod you added.
Alright, it seems the issue was caused by an outdated version of the mod. After I updated the mod, the problem disappeared, though I had previously confirmed through testing that the "WeightlessEssentials" mod was indeed the culprit. I’m still puzzled why a mod that alters weight would prevent dialogues from working. Anyway, thank you for creating this mod.
No idea, honestly. KCD2 modding is still very buggy and very random. If you used Vortex than it makes kind of sense, the game extension is very unstable and breaks at every update, thats why you should reinstall all the mods after updates.
It's working for me in 1.2. What isn’t working for you? If all items have their original weight, then the mod isn’t properly installed. If you're using Vortex, you might not have reinstalled the mods after updating the game extension—or you didn't update the game extension at all. If only some items have their weight back, then either another mod is conflicting, or the items were changed and need an update. All my items have 0 weight, but I don’t have every single item in my inventory, so I might have missed something. Let me know which items need fixing in that case.

Works for me just fine. - There was an update for the game extension in Vortex. Update it, then uninstall all the mods (delete archives also) and download them again. - Another fix could be deleting mod_order.txt and vortex.deployment.kingdomcomedeliverance2-mod.json and start Vortex to generate them anew. - If it doesnt work then its problem on your side. Possibly conflict with mod that alters item.xml (lots of mods use it, its not always apparent) or something else.

I will release update tomorrow.
