Added new versions where the character lighting is reduced instead of completely disabled. Should help in the scenes where Henry or characters end up completely dark.

does this also disable the invisible sphere of light thats around your character? i just noticed this while sneaking in the dark and its driving me NUTS
I don't think it does, because this mod was just added recently which seems to do what you're talking about: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/1575?tab=description
Do you have graphic mods or a modified game config? Because whenever I play with "ingame settings only", I never get that glow. As soon as I add my modded user.cfg for better visual quality, everything looks better, BUT I now also get the glow in the dark character effect...

Personally, I only use the r_DeferredShading3PL out of the settings you use so I could not say exactly. I looked through some of the commands that stood out to me there and didn't find anything that should cause that issue. Have seen this a bit myself with backlit characters having light shining through their mouth or eyes. I'm thinking it is an issue with their the way the models occulude surrounding light instead of a lighting issue.
personally i have many issue in dialogue and cutscene with the character lighting off. the most annoying thing with that is the shine around characters if we could remove it while keeping the false brightness it would be a good compromise.
Try one of the reduced character lighting files. It is mostly up to your own opinion which you want. A comparison is in the images section. 50% seems to be the most popular currently.
Same here, and it seems to be in appearing when a character is in front of a light source, almost as if the light is shining right through the back of their head and mouth.
The most interesting thing about Henry is that his eyes don't glow, everything is always fine, no matter where he stands, even near the window or opposite
This mod actually fix's the glowing eyes for me. Unfortunately, with the HDR mod If me or a npc is in a darker area. We look like we are hiding in the shadows XD Shadow_Man I know it's not the mods fault. It's just the settings I have to make the game look how I like it.
nice i like this realism, theres a funny part, after henry and company scape the castle, when they talk in the cave, eberything is black xD i only can see henry glasses
Hmmmm I'm going to look into adjusting this mod so it doesn't fully disable the lighting to see if it corrects this issue. I haven't run into many scenarios personally yet where it has been an issue but I will keep my eyes out for stuff like this to test.
