I don't know if the optional "reduced damage scaling from skills" file works after the patch, as that patch changed a bunch of different skills (unlisted balance changes, fixes and new bugs also).
Some aspect of this mod may have been broken by the patch in the new hardcore mode also as that made changes to AI in that difficulty mode.
the only thing that ever makes it challenging is trying to switch what enemy your focused on. lol. I cant believe they didn't fix that in this game. I often end up jumping around in the air when dodging backwards because i cant change what enemy im focused on.
pal you are playing on PC right? Jesus Christ do you guys not go through your key bindings before playing the game? its literally there saying next opponent, previous opponent; Just scroll up and down on your mouse wheel and voila you can switch your target during combat. Its not that hard pal if you sometimes would use that thing in your head ;) its not just there for decoration purposes. good luck and have fun

I noticed you added the optional file to increase npc stamina. I myself was trying to figure out a way to make combos viable by decreasing the stamina required b NPCs to block to the point where I could lower NPC riposte and perfect block in a way that didn't make combat easier.
Mod works fine. NPCs behave exactly as the mod described, and I am currently also using Weapon Rebalance, Remove Stat Changes, and Rebalanced Aiming. No issues whatsoever.
This is the only mod I am using related to combat and I am in a weird situation: enemies rarely attack me or even themselves. Now I started Ars Dimicatoria mission where I need to wait for my turn in a duel. The characters only turn around each other without doing any attack movement.
Even starting the game with the mod disabled, the result is the same so I am wondering wich parameter (and wich file) should I check to understand if it's possible to fix this situation. Can someone here please help me?
"Better" lol....I'm surprised how many people got baited with the title and ended up getting pissed with using the mod. There's nothing good about the combat system that this game pushes where enemies fight like karate octopuses and the only real way to fight is with master strikes. Calling it a combat system is almost criminal - a cinematic turn-based system is more accurate. If you want "better" then give the player freedom of using the weapons without hits being blocked 99% of the time and enemies doing cinematic moves on henry

Change that title.
Great mod! Thank you.
StaminaCostPerHit=26 (in kcd 2)
12(in kcd1)
