I don't understand how motion blur is supposed to remove headbob. Those are two totally different things. Also, I tried the mod and there still is headbob in the game as I expected.
If you can make a third person mod, then you can make a headbob mod too - it's about untethering the camera from Henry's head rig, floating it in relation to his neck, and changing his head to invisible when in gameplay - while making the head reappear for conversations etc. I reckon it's a bit of work, but totally doable.
Well, it is something I am still trying out. From what I saw from the first game, you need the command r_motionblur but also need a mod to use that command, if that makes sense, I was hoping to try the command and see if there was any change, but unfortunately it didn't change a thing. But I will still keep an eye on it and see if I can find something that can help.
I'm honestly thrilled someone is trying, so thank you very much. I've never really had this problem gaming before (game makes me feel super sick), so I'm really hoping someone manages it soon.
motion blur is also misunderstood, that blame mainly lies with game devs not using the correct labels, especially in older games. this game uses fantastic per object motion blur, which essentially blurs objects that are moving rapidly. the motion blur people hate, is the one where the screen turns into a blur when you turn. they're different things.
Personally I also dislike the object motion blur. Also, if I am not mistaken, you have object motion blur in the game's settings, I don't recall the exact name, but I remember searching for it and finding it when I was doing the tutorial of the game.
Tbh, I think it is nice that the devs added both blurs to the in-game options in case people want to disable it or disable just one (or enable it for that matter).
peasants cant afford object blur, it costs quite a few groschen and if you dont have the coin it will not look correct and you will have to yank your pizzle a bit more to clear the sickness. Head bob why the hell would you want to remove headbob....... some people are just fkn silly
Anyway, there are multiple mods out there that aim to remove headbob. This mod in specific only aims to implement certain QoL commands into the game (you can see them in the description of the mod).
I was playing a bit a go and I just unlocked an achievement. I play with over 40+ mods (I use my own collection), and yes, this mod and no intro mod are both part of my collection.
I am not sure what could cause you to not win achievements, but I am pretty sure mods aren't the cause of it.
I can't seem to get the Esc -> Save to work. It just says I don't have any schnapps. I installed via Vortex and launch with -devmode and user.cfg, and the option is set to "1". Should I set it to 0? Or does it need to be a New Game only?
Yeah I had this in the Vortex launch option, but that clearly wasn't getting passed properly to Steam. added the options in Steam directly and launched from there and it works fine.
I've always only had to type launch codes into the Steam Properties dialogue box's prompt before this game and it's always worked for me at least. Now though it's as if I'm back to having only just begun delving into modding and can't find something that's probably supposed to be obvious.
Only use Vortex to install your mods, don't use Vortex to launch your games. You can go to articles and find a clearer explanation how to properly set your launch options in each client.
From what I can gather by extensive searching on google and comparing images I found. It looks like it's most likely an edit of the girl anna from the bathhouse in Zhelejov Inn.
"Better XXX" is meaningless unless you tell us which setting in the game, at which level, it's better than and why. I have everything on Ultra; how does e_ViewDistRatioLights = 55 compare to that?
I also play on Ultra, the setting in 55 basically just makes so Shadows dont constantly pop in, which sometimes can be annoying or looks like out of place, but you are free to try it for yourself. You can edit the file with notepad++ or something like that and remove the command entirely.
Edit.: Removed it, since it wasn't ideal for all players.
I've seen multiple mods using the following command now, but it doesn't seem to work for me for some reason, but maybe I'm misunderstanding what it's supposed to do: No Hints While Riding a Horse (wh_player_HorseHintsVisibilityTimeout = 0); I assumed this was meant to disable the constant prompt to hold E to follow pathways, am I right? If so, this for some reason just won't work for me. Disabling autocentering does work just fine.
This is supposed to disable hints while horse riding, for example the stop pressing W while sprinting. The follow pathway is not a hint/tutorial, I believe.

It literally got removed in the first game.
Also, loved your comment Lifeless999 haha

-devmode +exec user.cfg
This is what you should have on your launch options. Also, launch the game through Steam (or Epic, GoG, whatever you use).Uh how you do
> Yeah I had this in the Vortex launch option
that there thing

Edit: asking for a friend 🥴🥴🥴
But looks great if you ask me haha

e_ViewDistRatioLights 55
I will look into it
