Hey man, I use the black pebbles version, but can you please make the foot hair and mane hair the same color as Shlamhak. I think it would suit Pebbles well.
These are both lovely - glad I can give pebbles the proper war horse look. I wonder if it would be possible to make an alternate version based on Erdel? He's the chonky model with a lovely (dappled) black coat + the braided tail/mane (though he's missing the leg feathers).
im working on erdel atm but cant figure out how to add the hooves hair. If the mod author is able to help me i can make a custom one. :) also gave erdel long hair
Honestly 2 options would be fab! One with the long mane/tail + leg feathers, and one with his default model (braided maine/tail and no feathers). Edit: Apprently the feathers are tied to the mane style (anything with 'heavy' in the name should feather the feet as well).
This mod has a guide to editing the horses: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/844 The fluff is tied to the mane style, so if you don't want feathers you need to use a style without 'heavy' in the name, so say 'horse_curly_hair_01_deep_black' rather than 'heavy_curly_hair_flipped_black'.
Update: for those like me who want to have the Friesian version with braided tail, you can edit the file yourself. Extract the .zip file in a random folder, open Data then extract the PowerfulPebblesFriesian.pak, go to Libs and open appearance_horse.xml file using Notepad++ or code viewer. Search for "Unique_Sedivka" and change the value in setBeard to braided_tail_01, then save.
Finally, you have to repackage the Libs folder again and you have to use WinRAR. Right click the Libs folder, add to archive then choose archive format as .zip, go to "time" and uncheck "high precision time format". Click OK, and then rename the file whatever you want, just make sure to also change the file extension to .pak
Thank you for the little mini-guide! Do you happen to know which line in appearance_horse.xml would affect the feathering on their legs? I'd love to add the feathering to Erdel.
I think you have to edit the CharacterComponent.xml for that, because there are "HorseHooves" and "HorseShoe" values there, but I haven't tested it yet so not 100% sure sorry!
I'd love a chonky version of Herring. I tried to do it myself (editing the xml's with the same changes in all files to Unique_Herynk instead of Unique_Sedivka (Pebbles)... but it seems to freak out the game, makes Herring invisible, etc. I dunno why this would work for Pebbles but not Herring (I'm probably messing it up somehow, would love any info from the mod author, or if you'd give us a draft Herring version yourself.)
