Great mod, thanks a lot for making this! Quick question though—does anyone know why this doesn't seem to work with zoom mods like "Zoomie" or "Save Me Henry"? Would love to use both together if possible.
Because they all modify the same file. If you already have those mods installed then you don't need to download this, just follow the guide in the description to edit your zoom mod to enable this mod's features in game
Could you bring this to the Steam Workshop? I use GeForce Now at the moment, and while I found a way to use workshop mods with it, I certainly can't use Nexus mods. This is a cool concept that I'll eventually look into when I get my PC set up again, thanks!
considering foregoing this mod entirely-- I'm getting the bug where I cannot make new saves (they appear in saves folder, but are 0kb) Doing a fresh install of the game and trimming some fat from my mod folders. I like this mod a lot, but it might be problematic-- it caused some jank even before 1.2.4, but I was ok with that jank.
Hey ebrtsan love the mod and endorsed! I'm just curious because I feel like I'm losing my mind. With the newest update you put out did you make it possible to swap outfits while in combat or just enter the inventory and select items while in combat? Because I swear I was able to swap entire outfits with your mod and suddenly can't? I'm sorry in advance!
Nice mod. I tried adding said line to merge with QuickSave mod. Works fine. Only issue is that the crime list feature no longer work and its button UI at bottom right of the screen also disappear. (Pressing F after surrendering to guard to view henry crimes). Removing the line restore the F button for crime list.
I'll leave it here incase someone else find the Crime list missing and not knowing which mod causing it.
I want to know if the author will fix this issue. The feature disabled by this mod is quite important, as there are often inexplicable crimes occurring in the game that result in random arrests.
Fixed now, had to change the priority of the action map for opening the crime list right under "dialog" to "platform_interrupt". Also enabled opening inventory during combat for good measure
For it to show, open and close your inventory during the conversation with guards and it will appear.
I haven't run into this yet so can't confirm it works, but I figured you could remove/swap out dirty clothes or put on something like a higher Charisma hat/other item mid-conversation, for a higher chance at passing difficult skill checks.
I tested that interaction by asking about Henry's outfit before the wedding. I entered the dialog wearing armour and weapons (which would get disapproved) and before asking for approval about my outfit, I swapped to fancy clothes without equipping any armour or weapons and got the okay. I think changing to the appropriate outfit work mid-convo affects the checks, even though the values on screen might not change.
For me it's most useful when I was in a more roleplaying outfit. Such as fancy clothes when running around in a castle courtyard and talking to people. Sadly a lot of times dialogues that you'd never expect will lead you into cinematics/scripted moments in the story where you're now stuck 'in combat' for an extended period of time. This lets you chuck on your armor before those fights start.

For now, try the other line to see if the issue remains. I'll try looking into it and see if it can be put in another section instead.
