    Does any of these include the cat sounds/fighting cats in Kuttenberg? I always have to mute the game at night or my cats will freak the fk out about those - running about the room searching for the "enemy" haha :D

    Are the crow sounds (caws) modified too?
    It's always the same sound and it's annoying, especially in Kuttenberg.

      To be honest I kind of forgot if I modified that sound or not in the main file, but I did make another separate mod for the crow sounds because I too was really annoyed at the Kuttenberg birds scattering everywhere. :)

    Hi, great mod.
    But can you make a mod that remove basically completely the horse neighing sound? The sound is super annoying when horse stops or gets tired, and its incredibly loud

      Hey, thanks guys.

      I created an optional file, No Neighing. Try it out and let me know if I removed too much or missed some sound. I haven't been able to test it myself yet, I lowered culling distance on several horse entries such as "overspurred", "whinny", "refusal" and "stamina".

      I tried to fix it myself before I found your mod, but every version I made would result in all horse sounds being removed except for footsteps... even the version where all I did was mute horse _whinny. If you got time, do you (or any other modders) know what I might've done wrong?

      Hi. When you tried it, what file did you change and what change did you make? The issue you describe I guess could be from incorrect closing tags or conflict with another mod, provided you only changed distance_culling="0" value and nothing else (should work then, I set it to 0 to mute).

    Thank you for this mod. I play without music so I can immerse myself in the ambient sound. I put my volume pretty high so the wind blowing in the fields is somewhat the same as irl. But the NPC sounds, dialogue, Henry's voice, etc are way too loud if I do that. Also Henry's footsteps are way too loud for me. Do you think it's possible to specifically lower the volume of those things? I've never seen a mod for the first one fe to lower Henry's walking sounds.

      Hi, sorry for the late reply. I know I looked at this (and armor sound) early on but never found a solution for it. :(
      If you want some guidance on how you could try do this yourself (you just have to find some related entries and try changing it) just ping me on modding discord (@haze) and I will help teach you how to do it, these kind of changes is pretty simple to learn.

      Hey, sorry for the late reply.

      I uploaded an updated file under optional files: "Quiet Birds", removed all bird sounds (not chickens) I could find in world.xml.

      Let me know if it doesn't work, there might be some bird sounds in some other file that I have missed but I think this should work. :)

    Can you please make a file that simply removes the forest sounds or the sounds you hear in the field such as the muffled never ending cricket noises, it drives me crazy to hear it 24 7 whenever i am riding through the forrest, example: in the beginning of the game soon as u start u hear that static cricket noise for the ENTIRE time, that noise is the one im talking about, also the npc black smiths loud cling noise is too loud too, sometimes you do missions and ur dealing with that in your ear.

      i just saw the silent anvil file, i think it might be what i said so never mind on that, thank you! but PLEASE make one for the forest buzzing or whatever that noise is, i would aprecciate it, thank you!

    Thanks for the mods!

    Since the last update, I'm hearing a lot of armour-related sounds that were probably fixed or re-added to the game. However, the high pitched ringing noises made by chainmail items (mail coifs/collars, chainmail, hauberks, et c.), are particularly annoying. It's not so much the rustling sounds, but the little "ding" sound you hear every few steps.

    Would it be possible to have an optional file for those kind of items? I would also be more than happy with a "simple" version that mutes all armour-related movement sounds, depending on how much effort you'd have to put into it. They might be immersive, but I can't run around in full armour anymore without it driving me up the wall. :(

      I looked for this a couple of times (no deep dive) and I am unsure how to best achieve this. Atm I want to learn Skald and make new quests mods so sorry but don't expect me to solve this any time soon. :(

      Another suggestion I would have for things to add to the list would be the sound of opening/closing doors and chests. I was doing a long alchemy stint in the Suchdoll fortress yesterday and they just never stop. :p

      Hey, check optional files for Quiet Henry Drunk. It mutes the sound of Henry being drunk. Only way I know of atm.
