haha! Did you see the update with the config I added as optional for the mod? Peek at the description though (updated) and then try it out! I personally wouldn't want to do the pool size for the mod but I will test that out right now for fun!
Update: I have added an OPTIONAL config file that adds even more to this mod. It gives the game a retro resolution, low L0ds and turns off many other settings and other settings set to VERY LOW. Not to low that you can't see though or what's the point? Check below and I also included a README in the download.
OPTIONAL: Do you want to go ALL out and be even more retro with this? Put the AutoExec.cfg file in the ROOT of your game folder - NOT IN MODS! Put it in \Kingdom Come - Deliverance II folder directly. Set the Launch Options to: -devmode in steam. How? ( Right click the game in your Steam Library and add -devmode as the launch option) DONE! Boot the game up!
e_LodFaceAreaTargetSize=20 (or higher) will do that. All characters turn into runescape characters, the higher the number, even in cutscenes they remain so, because it made the distance required so massive it doesn't count towards high detail change.
Apparently what LOD does is measure from the start of the 'target' object in your camera's view, to your camera to lower down to a lower quality state. If you set it to 500 units, then 500 units away from you it looks low detail.
There was another thing I tested in cvar but I pushed the bias number so high it crashed the game. I think it has to do with the TSAA sharpening bias or something and I used 20 and turned grass into cubes.
Oh frame capping programs supposedly 'works' to an extent... If you try to use the ingame frame capper and limiters with vsync, FORGET ABOUT IT.
The game will outright abandon your configuration randomly if you turn on frame generation or enable certain things from the driver's side... So if you are tweaking, you better have a 3rd party frame capping software running at all times or the game will go wild with your pc hardware for a ride of it's life.

We like Bethesda Bugs, it's a feature.
You are welcome.
I wonder what happens if you force the game to use a very tiny pool size? It's forced to pop in everything at close ranges?
0 = Ultra/Experimental
1.5 = Medium
I think this is the cvar where I crashed it when I typed 200 or something, but 20 makes grass turn into blocks?
EDIT: Nvm, it's not that one. I noticed no changes when riding my horse around kuttenberg while adjusting the values.
